calculating activity points for steps

Hi - is there a way of calculating your activity points when you don't have a WW pedometer? I used to have one and I seem to remember I had to do about 6000 steps to start earning and then would get a pro point for about every 2000 steps on top of that. I know it all depends on weight etc but does that sound roughly correct? I have an UP wristband so am not looking to buy a new pedometer. Thanks
