Hola Everyone! Cambridge 800 has come to Spain so joined on Tuesday. Need to lose around 30 - 35 kilos (about 5.5 stones). Did LL years back and lost 4.5 stones. Lifestyle here in Spain caught up with me so I am starting again.

Anyone on Cambridge 800 rather than the 600 calorie plan? Interested to know weight loss difference. Also, how many teaspoons of fruit and vegetable poweder do you allow yourselves?

Sorry so many questions....

Looking forward to talking on this great forum!

Hi Blue Moon!

I wonder if it's a different plan in Spain -

in the UK it is:

step 1 = soul source = 440-555cal = 3-4 CWP packs
step 1 = soul source plus = 640 cal = 3 CWP packs + 200cal meal or 4 CWP packs +200ml milk
step 2 = 810 = 810cal = 3 CWP packs and some food (from a list)
step 3 = 1000 = 1000cal
step 4 = 1200cal
step 5 = 1500cal
step 6 = "My life"

I'm wondering if "Cambridge 800" is like step 2?

..I'm also wondering what the powder is you're talking about.. I'm guessing it's the water flavourings (golden vegetable, summer berry or sunshine orange).. I've only tried them briefly and didn't get into the habit with them so I'm not sure how much you can have.. I get the impression that they're just for a treat.. but it might be different if the plan is different in Spain anyway... so... erm... not sure... sorry...

Are you enjoying it? Are you getting all the information you need for your consultant?

good luck with it all

xx

Hi Enough! Yes, it is different. 4 packs = 800 calories. Gave up last Thursday and ate for 3 days. Put on 4lbs so decided today to move over to Exante as it is only 600 calories. Start again today! Didnt really feel ok with counsellor - I do prefer a "group" situation like Lighterlife but nothing like that over here. Thanks for your message - good luck with your weight loss. Hoping Exante will give me better results.

ooh - good luck with that - sorry I didn't find your message sooner - it's so much quieter on here than it used to be and I guess you could have done with a boost and a friendly response when you first posted..

Exante looks good (your post led me to look at their website - I've never looked at them before) - those choc orange bars look yummy!

I hope the new Exante support works better for you - I think it's important to have the right counsellor/consultant/support...

All the best - Looks like an amazing place you're living in - jealous! :)

Oh, thank you so much. Yes, Exante products are really nice - I have just had a creamy, spicey tomato soup. I don't have any bars at the moment as I want to give myself the best chance on the soups and shakes first. I have a shake as a hot bedtime drink. Did you look up San Miguel de Salinas on the internet? It is a very nice sort of village which means we are "Spanish" rather than an ex-pat community. Have lived in Spain pretty much for 9 years now. Love it!

I prefer a "normal" life when I'm in other countries too... otherwise it's a strange existence... I'd love to see more of Europe.. I've been all over the world and yet I've never been to Greece or Spain..
