Cambridge Buddy August 2012

You have to expect for your time of the month to have a small impact, however it is your first week I still think you will be in for quite a big loss. I started on the week of my period last month and still lost 5.5 lbs in just 4 days. I think you'll be surprised!! Yessss I would def kill for a KFC or any sort of food to be honest, but remember nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!! X

About drinking all of this water... So far I'm happily drinking my water - aiming for 2.5 litres a day. Bit of a challenge at first but as long as I keep my glass filled up, I keep on emptying it.

Unfortunately what goes in, must come out!! Do the number of toilet trips eventually decrease as your body gets used to the water? I'm trotting up and down the corridor at work so many times that I'm hardly getting any work done! And I feel sleep deprived from getting up in the night.

Please tell me that this'll get better!

I'm on day 8 hun and its still a little irratating but I am sleeping better! Try and get a lot of water in early in the morning - I "delay" my breakfast shake and hit the water that way I'm not playing catch up in the evening and not going backwards and forwards plus I feel more satisfied from the shakes for longer.

I drink 3 litres per day. At first it was a killer but now I find myself thirsty still! I'm in my 4th week and my body is used to the water in take now. Have been for about 1.5/2 weeks. Toilet trips are still more usual however they are less than the first week or 2 when I started. Your body just needs to adjust. How long have you been on the diet? x
 
Thanks for the updates. I'm only on day two so am yet to settle into a routine, but want to make sure that I do it properly right from the start.

Never have I drunk so much water, but from reading everyone's comments, it seems to be the way to get great results.

It's reassuring that the trips up the corridor should slow down soon!!

Trips to the toilet proves that your diet is working as peeing is a way of letting fat deposits out. The trips to the loo are well worth the agro! X

Well just been for 2nd weigh in and only 4lb off :-( ...... I know i should b happy bout this but was expecting more with it bein only 2nd week. How was everone elses weight loss on week 2 compared to week 1 ??

Week 1 - 13lb
Week 2 - 4lb
 
I lost 5.5lb in my first four days, second week I lost 6lb third week I lost 4lb, fourth week lost 1lb (water retention apparently to my consultant!!) weigh in tomoz, had a cheeky step on the scales and still only another 1lb down. It sucks :-( 4lb is good! Try not to get disheartened! X
 
The dreaded day 3 has arrived. No headache but absolutely no energy either. Have no idea how I made it out of bed! At least I know the energy levels should start to improve from now on and the pounds should start to drop off.

Does anyone else suffer from 'furry' teeth? No matter how often or well I clean them, they just seem to have a coating on them.
