Can I go to a different group after purchasing a countdown course?

I work for sainsburys and normally have every Monday off to attend my group with which I have purchased a 6 week countdown course 3 weeks ago.
However I transfer department on Monday and as a one off (Iv tried changing it but best they can do is ensure I'm off for future Mondays) it means I can't attend my usual group.
I have found another nearby on a Monday morning which I would be happy to attend, but can I still use my countdown on my card? Or will I have to pay for a week?
