Cauli Rice

Yes, I find it invaluable as a substitution for the carby things, especially rice and pasta. Just whizz up half a cauliflower in a food processor then either nuke it with a bit of water for a few minutes or boil it like you would rice. It can be flavoured with anything from your herbs and spices cupboard - when we're having curry I add a bit of garam masala or cumin to it.
 
Mmmmmm I love cauli rice

I grate my cauli into a frying pan and stir fry it with butter until it goes soft. Sometimes I add soy sauce and scrambled egg too
 
I fry mine in garlic butter...add a bit of cayenne pepper..some paprika.....few spring onions and some prawns....

NOM!
 
Just tried it for the first time (been having lots of cauli mash). Nice and DH a convert too- now off to think up some good combos:)
