Hi everyone

I was just wondering if doing the CD is recommended when you are trying to conceive, only we are trying for a baby but i desperatly need to lose some more weight.

And if i get pregnant and don't find out straightaway, will the CD do any damage?

I think the advice is that it's fine to TTC while on CD, but to stop as soon as you find out you are pregnant x

This is a difficult one.

I usually advise my ladies if they are ttc to lose the weight first. When you have lost weight, your body stands a better chance of carrying a pregnancy...

However....

I got pregnant (I think) just as I was in ketosis. I worked out of it in a couple of days (not knowing I was pg) for my holidays.

My advice is: Cambridge can help fertility by weight loss. If you are on any CD programme and discover you are pregnant then stop straight away. Your body will need the extra calories.

The effects of Ketosis on an embryo are (I think) relatively unknown.

dont know, but coulnt read and run so good luck, and get planty of practice in!! yee haa!!
