CD Buddies

Perhaps your buddy has had a tough week and feels bad about it? That's often the reason why people vanish for days or longer. She may be feeling very down and also needing support and encouragement. Why don't you send her a private message?

I too am in week 4, if you need a buddy x I've stayed 100% throughout am completed motivated.

Have a diary on here too, basically -21lb so far with 19lb to go.

What are your goals? How much water are you drinking?

My goal is to be 57kg (9st) by September, but it doesn't look like my weight loss is going to be good enough to do that :( But as close to, will work aswell.

I'm drinking copious amounts of water every day - I'm sure it's more than 4L or at least the required 4L.

I'm Aly, 38, married, 3 children. Boy/Girl twins aged 12 and a daughter who's 3.

I lost 5 stone when my twins were about 3 years old with Slimming World (maintained my weight for years, but gained them again with quitting smoking in April 2007, and then getting pregnant in the September)but found this time it was just too slow and I didn't have the discipline to stick to it. With this, eliminating the food element and overeating was easier. I don't have a poor relationship with food - I don't comfort eat or anything, I just love my food! I overeat because it's so yummy! That's my issue. I need to learn that I can enjoy it in small amounts too.

I started at 13st 4 and aim to get to 10st 7 by September, I drink 3.5 litres a day. I put on weight having DD lost 3 st then broke my leg. so have to do yoga, swimming and cycles weekly so have ss+ meal.

I also love good food! I adore cooking and entertaining. Though am used to eating low GI. I was also very active, horse riding, gym, yoga, swimming until I fell off horse!!
 
I feel for you! I used to ride a lot too :) Had a nasty fall a few years back where they thought I'd broken my back and unfortunately, never got back on :(

I go to the gym three times a week and play tennis. I've been avoiding since I started this, but started tennis again this week (lightly). I'm also doing SS+ cause I can't give up my tea!

Do you mind me asking where in the UK you are? I'm in Hertfordshire.
 
Ahhh up north :)

How are you finding cooking for your family still?

I find it sooo hard - all the yummy smells :( But focus on the fact that I'll feel far better at target than one meal...

I don't find it too bad, but I treat it like food porn!! I've also started cooking her meals that I'll be able to have soon, like low fat turkey burgers, sweet potato stuffed with chickpeas, roasted vegetables, home made fish pie. I tend to cook on a Sunday for the week ahead, so it's all ready.

Midlands lol, but I used to live in Leeds so happy to be northan.

Having a day off tomorrow as wedding anniversary I've planned my food out. Haha

Hi niki I've seen ur posts around here. I'm fed up restarting. I know we can do this. I'm gonna do 4 packs a day. I'm 5'6 so really should only be on 3 but I find that if I have that extra pack for the evening it helps me through it as evenings are my worst xxx

Im the same only 5'2 and I go on 4 too find it's easier to space out for the 1st week so I can stick to it lol :rolleyes:
usually 9 am 1 pm 5 pm and 9 pm then bed lol
something always comes up but ive now put on a stone eating crap in about 6 weeks :mad::mad::mad: so it's gotta go lol

I hope Im typing this in the right place.. But this sounds like a plan there are now three of embarking on this journey.. and yes Iv lost count of how many times ive tried this. Im starting on Sunday with 2 CD and one meal to ease in then full sole source as from Monday.. We will succeed this time I am sure.. I have a good feeling about this.
I guess weigh will be Monday Morning then? Good luck girls!!!:D lets climb the hill together despite what life (S**t) throws at us and do something for us..

Yeah me too having that extra one at night really makes a difference. Nights are my worst. I always start the day well and start to fade as the evening draws nearer. I've hovered around the same weight for ages despite starting various diets. I stuck to CD for 2 weeks last time and lost a stone so I know it's amazing when u stick to it. We can do this luvvie...i know we can xxx
 
And Im Adele by the way and 4 CD is fine certainly that is what they reccomend on the Lighter Life Diet. A little more about me I am single 2 grown up sons.. I want to get my life back on track. This means everything to me so I get so frustrated when I just can not seem to complete the three days to get into ketosis after that im pretty focused x

Hi Adele good to meet you. That's my sisters name too lol. Yeah the first 3 days are pants but if we can get past that and keep each other going we will be grand. I want to lose nearly 50lbs. What are your goals girls.? Xx
