    Hello everyone

I normally float about on the LighterLife forum. The cost of LL is killing me!!! I cant afford to go next week.

Just after some info because ive heard CD is alot more penny friendly. Is it basically the same?

Ive emailed a counsilor and just waiting to hear back - what usually happens then? Is there a meeting you go to?

    Thanks In Advance :)

The cost is approximately £36 per week, for the shakes, if you have other things, it will be a little bit more.

Once the CDC contacts you, you will go to see her and have a lovely friendly chat x

    Hope this helps x x x

Why would you have additional food? Is it not like LL where all your meals are sorted in the packs? You dont eat at all on LL.

If you have to buy food on top its going to be expensive as LL!

Hi there.... Im on 4 packs a day and no additional food...i pay £48 a week. I thinks its very expensive (especially as i also have a husband and kids to feed, so still having to add that on top of weekly shopping trips) BUT, its way cheaper than LL and its the cost that keeps me sticking to it (although it is tough). I know it's working, so will stick with it for as long as i have the pennies.

    Good luck

No there are diff plans you can do. So ss is sole source, which means you just have three packs a day.
SS+ is sole source plus, which means you have the 3 packs then add a 200cal meal.
The losses are about the same as it is still on 600ish cals a day.

my boyfriend was worried about him paying for all his own food, we used to alternate before CD and now he has worked out he is spending like £20 on food a week and i am spending over double that on CD. Worth it though, but it is hard.
