I know I've not had enough syns by far but dinner was massive and couldn't face any Choc when I got back! Also leaves a few syns for any oil the meat was cooked in - menu said grilled but it was quite moist - any suggestions?

Meal sounds lush & seeing you've only had 2 syns today I'm sure if the meat was cooked in oil you will be ok Syn wise as you have 13 spare & that should cover it I would think x

Bolognese is something like 8 syns I think so not too bad! Yep, will be WI and doing measurements in the morning :) x

Thanks for that, not too many Syns! Let us know how you get on with your measurements, you're so tiny now do you think you will have lost anything? x

It's all at the back of the basic syn thing you get at the start under Italian restaurants. Will post you a few more values if you can't find them?

I think my legs have toned up thanks to all the walking and my new trainers, but otherwise I highly doubt I have lost anything! X

Thanks Charlie, had a look in the back of my 2010 SW book & it gave me a few dishes. I just hope they do the dish I want there tonight.....tomato & chili pasta & will use all 15 syns on it in case, so will have no syns at home as better to be safe than sorry! Im surprised at my mindset, as usually I dont bother, but uber determined now!

How's WI & measurements gone today? x

That sounds like a good plan Kim, definitely something I would do! Glad that you are so determined!

I put on 1lb taking me to 8st 6.25lb but I'm pretty sure that is muscle gain as I've been hillwalking my ass off! The measurements show a teeny loss on my thighs, I credit this to lots of walking (on and off the treadmill) in my new toning shoes!

Missing my runs though, walking is pain free but even if I do a super slow jog I get an immediate pain in my knee - I hope it's not permanent damage :(

Hope you have a good time tonight! X

Well done! You may find that your weight will increase slightly due to the amount of exercise you do but it will settle & you're still under target! Its better to have a slim toned body than a scrawny skinny bod in my eys & Im sure your OH eyes as well.
Your doing the right thing not running if you have pain in the knee, just keep it rested for a few weeks & then maybe just run every other day at a slower pace x

I feel a lot more toned and muscular and am v happy with that. Would rather have muscle than bone - and oh agrees as he already complains about my spine!

Am desperately falling in love with walking, especially on days like these! Was going to get the bike out this morning but still had a flat tyre, if sun is out tomorrow with get OH to fix them up so we can get out there!

Am having real problems with wind and stomach bloating at the moment so going to get some peppermint tea and charcoal tablets this evening.

How are you getting on with cutting back on booze? And has OH recovered from his op? Not been on the thread for a while as I sometimes find it a little overwhelming! X

Walking is fabulous....do you walk or powerwalk? I was training for the Moonwalk & then my neck went, but thoroughly enjoyed the training & much kinder on the kness!
Have you tried Windeze? I wander whats causing the bloating tho? Are you having a lot of fiber or too many carbs? Why not do a search & see what the internet comes up with...a bit odd tho if this a new thing!

Day 9 of no booze & feeling very 'holier than tho'! Sounds as if I drink a lot saying that, which I dont, only the once a week drinkies but I suppose it would be classified as 'binge drinking', but we only have about 6 drinks & then hometime as we're a bit 'pleased' by then lol! DH's op went well & fingers crossed its all sorted now.
Yeah the thread can be quite fast going at times, especially as there were only a few of us to begin with & now everyones joining as we're so popular!
Hope you have a good evening x

I try and walk briskly at the least, I'm not sure what counts as power walking! According to my app, I walk faster than I used to jog... I've been taking windeeze but causes constipation which is exactly what I don't want - the charcoal seems to be doing the trick. Have done some research and it seems it could be an insensitivity to something like gluten which would make sense as its in pretty much everything I eat. I also think I've been overdoing the carbs so back on yummy salads for lunch for a week or so.

Wahayy! Well done on going for so long :) do you feel better for it? I wonder if it will show on the scales next week! How is the pain? Have you got any more answers from the doc yet? X

Oh you certainly dont want Windeze then! I was wandering about an allergy/sensitivity of some kind, so cutting back on the heavier carbs might help to eliminate them.
Yes I do feel better for not having a blow out at the weekend, coz the Friday drinks would always turn into a Saturday full of hangover foods! Thats why I've benn at a STS for so long I think. Meal out last night consisted of a Tricolour to start & a Spinach & Ricotta Canelloni....so I've estimated 30 Syns for the lot for the avacado & cheeses & used my Hex's as well for the mozerella. I've probably over estimated the Syns, but rather be safe than sorry. Also, no wine or puds....very restrained!
Ref the pain, I saw a pain specialist in the week & he's started me on a new 'neuro' drug which is helping & still waiting to see the Neurologist! Thanks for asking x
