Charliemm's Extra Easy Food Diary

Oh you certainly dont want Windeze then! I was wandering about an allergy/sensitivity of some kind, so cutting back on the heavier carbs might help to eliminate them.
Yes I do feel better for not having a blow out at the weekend, coz the Friday drinks would always turn into a Saturday full of hangover foods! Thats why I've benn at a STS for so long I think. Meal out last night consisted of a Tricolour to start & a Spinach & Ricotta Canelloni....so I've estimated 30 Syns for the lot for the avacado & cheeses & used my Hex's as well for the mozerella. I've probably over estimated the Syns, but rather be safe than sorry. Also, no wine or puds....very restrained!
Ref the pain, I saw a pain specialist in the week & he's started me on a new 'neuro' drug which is helping & still waiting to see the Neurologist! Thanks for asking x

I always overestimate too :) better safe than sorry! Sounds delicious!

So glad they're doing something about the pain! Have you been jogging still? X

No jogging for a while now, in fact no exercise at all for a week, as the weather was crappy & to be honest lost my mojo a bit & just didn't feel like it! I know once I start I'll get my enthusiasm back & off out for a ride later this morning.
How's your knee today? x

Knee isn't too bad thanks, but even jogging up the stairs sets it off :( have just invested in some Birkenstock sandals so hopefully supportive footwear will help it get on the mend. Wanted to go out on the bikes today but we've got some gardening that needs doing first :( hope Houdini your mojo soon! X

New shoes sound great & hopefully will help with the knee pain. Hope you haven't damaged your AC ligament, but it may be worth you getting some Tubigrip for support & if its still playing up in a few weeks get to the GP.
Mojo back after long bike ride! x

Hi! Just popping in to subscribe!
Sounds as though maintaining is going well for you!
I fell in love with walking when I tore my cruciate ligament in my knee. I run occasionally, but my knee took 18 months to totally heal and I really don't want to risk that pain and immobility again!
Size 6 primark jeans..woohoo! X

Im not entirely sure how I'm maintaining as I'm not doing much differently at all, I think it must be the decrease in running and a few heavy weekends! How is maintains going for you?

I'm resting my knee for a few weeks then will start trying to build up to running again, but I'm not holding out :( I'm loving walking but I don't feel like I'm getting as much of a workout so I've just been walking as much as I can!

X
