Cheese as a hexb on EE?

I'm sure it's been asked before (sorry!)

Can you have cheese as a hexb on EE days or is this only for green?

I don't attend group and my book is from 2009 so I'm not sure if all the hex lists are interchangeable (apart from the obvious green/red - meat, pulses etc).

:) Thanks for the quick reply.

Can you have the cheese as a b choice though? Just asking as I'm addicted to my daily latte with a hexa of skimmed milk.

Wondering if I can have the hexa of milk and a hexb of cheese or if I would need to syn one of the other and have a hexb left over?

Afraid you can't have cheese as a heb choice on EE, no. The lists of extra hebs are just for the green/red plans.

Sorry but cheese is only a HEB on the green plan and that is for its protein content. On red and EE you get protein from lean meat and fish, so you don't need an extra boost by way of a HE

Thanks, I had the feeling that would be the case. Got plenty of syns left so it's not crisis time today lol - I'll make a note of it in my book, cheers x
