chicken in slow cooker question

I want to make a soup that uses chicken can i cook it from frozen in slow cooker or do i need to defrost? sorry not a very accomplished cook yet. thanks

If you mean can you cook a whole chicken from frozen in the slow cooker, then the answer is no,you will have to defrost it first.

Absolutely defrost it first. There is so little heat from a slow cooker that it would take so long to defrost that the cooking time would not be long enough and you would risk food poisoning.
