Chicken stock

    If i make my own chicken stock from the carcas of my sunday roast, and remove all the fat from it, is that FREE??
    and if it is whats the ruling on whether it can be consumed as FREE on a green??

    Was going to use it to make a chicken noodle soup for hubby and use some of the leftover beast meat as a HEB on a green day???

    I asked this question last week (in syns I think) and was told that as long as you skim the fat off the stock its OK - I let it sit in the fridge overnight and then remove the gunk on top.

    mmm chicken soup...

    would you normally worry about using a chicken oxo on a green day??
    I don't....
    and there's less weird stuff in your stock surely..

    yeah figured it would be ok. thanks :)
    (i am veggie, so veg stock in everything i normally do...lol ) just wanted to not waste my chicken carcas from hubbys red day roast chicken.
