Hiya!

The OH and I are having a chinese tonight.
Im on an EE day so will be having boiled rice as I know thats free, but am I right in saying that sweet and sour chicken is 8.5 syns? Is that the sweet and sour chicken in the sauce or without the sauce?

With the sauce I think. I'm not sure...

I know this is really late and useless now, but I have just had Chinese with lemon chicken - not the balls in batter type, I must add! I think it might be similar syns to the sweet and sour.

Sorry to hijack thread, but I've just had king prawns in black bean sauce which I believe is 5 syns. I had half of that. I also had 3 BBQ spare ribs. Has anyone any idea of the syn value in that?

One thing to be aware of is that the syn value quoted by SW is for an average size portion. Some portions can be as much as twice this size so you just need to either weigh it if it's a takeaway, or be aware it may be higher than quoted if you're eating out.
