Christmas present thread

That's exactly what I was thinking! And I've seen it happen! And the funny part is when the wife blames the husband for sneaking things in haha!

This time of year if people get in my way(they stop in middle of an aisle) I slip something into their trolley.OH is usually pushing it so if anyone notice I just say sorry thought it was my trolley. And blame it on OH for not being behind me.:D:)

Rofl!!!!!!!
thats hilarious xx

That's brilliant! Shall be trying that one haha!!!

That's awesome! Love it!

Haha sneaky but I like it!
I'm officially all done! Did the last few bits today just need to wrap todays purchases. And OH's football shirt FINALLY turned up today! Ordered it on 30th Nov but cos they are made to order and they've been so busy it took ages. So relieved I can give him the shirt rather than a card with a pic of it haha! Final list-

Parents- hamper with framed photos, grandparents wall plaque, cracker selection, toffee slab, cheese selection, wine and a pannetonne.

Eldest brother and sis in law- wedding photobook and voucher for a kitchenware store near their house that they love

Other older brother- spinning carousel spice rack

Sister in law- links of London charms for her bracelet

Younger brother- "steam" voucher (something to do with online gaming apparently!)

Boyfriend- replica vintage crystal palace shirt, chilli oil bottle, selection of hot chilli sauces, whiskey tasting kit, ukulele.

Boyfriends brothers girlfriend- make up bag from waldo pancake (says on it- contents:my face) and some gorgeous earrings.

My nannying family that I work for- Mum and dad - bottle of prosecco and biscuits
7 year old charge- Lego star wars model set
4 year old charge- dancing Santa :)

Fortunately most is already wrapped though my brothers voucher will be fun to wrap. It's literally printed on a till receipt so will put it in a DVD case and wrap that, then put it in a box and wrap that, then put that in a bigger box and wrap that etc. I never got him back for wrapping a pair of stud earrings for my birthday a few years ago inside 10 different boxes ending with the box his guitar was delivered in so time to get my own back!

The Steam sale is on already apparently so your brother will be happy with his voucher. For the receipt you could buy a Christmas envelope/money card thing, I bought some money envelopes from Hobby Craft & they're ideal for gift receipts etc.

I love getting perfume lol....... As long as its not a ***** one!! Lol.
those presents are great though, I love days out, hotel trips etc, it's my hubby's bday on new years day and I've booked us a hotel in Stratford upon Avon with 4 course meal included then an afternoon in their spa with two treatments each, lunch and champagne.

We did a similar thing last year for my bday and we both loved it :) xxx

Ooooo I can't wait to find out what we have all got for Xmas now :)
will we be sharing it here or under a new thread?xxx

Oh what a brill idea, maybe if we start another thread, then other people may join in.

I can tell you now what mine is.It is nothing as that is what I asked for.:)

I find giving and receiving perfume, socks, pants etc etc a waste of time and money.I prefer to buy theatre tickets or weekends away for people.:)
Last year I bought our 2 sons NFL tickets worth £150 each for Xmas and birthday pressie.:)
This year they want the same so I will buy them in Feb when they go onsale.:)
We took MIL to Brighton to see Nine to Five and stayed in hotel for 2 nights as her present and she really enjoyed it.:)

How exciting NFL tickets, me & OH have just bought stocking fillers, & putting money in holiday pot, as we both love our holidays.

Aww that looks fab Kelly x

Oh that's good then Michelle Thanks! Will have a look but might still do the pass the parcel style wrapping, just to see his reaction! :)

did you go with the pass the parcel wrapping?

My brother did that for my son, he'd bought him the sword from the hobbit but wrapped it up in about 10 different sets of wrapping paper, he even bought him a couple of bags of chocs which he wrapped up and left in the layers of wrapping paper, so it was properly like a pass the parcel.
