Hello,

Here is my online food diary to help keep me on track!

I thought I'd write a little bit about me before I started my food diary, so if your here for a visit feel free to introduce yourself and say hello! :)

I'm Claire, I'm 30 and from Essex in England. I have a 7 year old daughter and i work part time (while she is in school).

I'm back on Weight Watchers after just over 2 years away, so I am familiar with ProPoints and the basics of the Filling and Healthy diet but feel free to comment and give me some new ideas! :)

If you see any mistakes please let me know! .... It could be I've calculated something wrong and written it down wrong in my book, or it might just be a typo when I've typed it up on here! .... or i might have just had a blonde moment!! :D (this is most likely to be on a Filling and Healthy day when I think something is F&H and its not, or on a PP day when I don't point something because its not pointed on a F&H day! lol)

Monday 5th January

Breakfast (5pp):
40g Shreddies - 4pp
125ml Skimmed Milk - 1pp
1x Banana - 0pp

Lunch (8pp):
Tesco Chicken Caesar Salad Bowl - 8pp
1 x Yellow Pepper - 0pp

Tea (8pp):
Weight Watchers Curry and Rice - 8pp

Notes for me:
I started the diet today and really pleased with how well I did on the 1st day back! :D
I must try to plan my meals better and make sure i get in my 5 a day!


Notes for anyone reading:
I plan to weigh in on Saturday's so this week (Monday-Friday) I am just trying to cut down my calorie intake and eat healthier so although I haven't used all my daily's its not long term they will eventually go on chocolate and treats but for now I'm leaving them if I don't feel I need them! also I'm trying to do a few filling and healthy days a week and not sure how well (or if) they will work for me so I'm trying to leave some points incase until I find out! I plan on my weekly PP's being used for this but as i started on a Monday I'm ignoring weekly pp's this week as I know I definitely used all them over the weekend before I started! :)

Notes to me:
Had a good day today, stuck to only F&H foods or foods with 0pp value.
Spooky that didn't point but still ended up with 29pp so could have had a pp day! lol.

Although I had a filling and healthy day today I have put the PP value next to food for reference so if I want the same meals on a PP day I have the info to hand!

Ingredients in BBQ Sauce:
Frylight
1tsp Mild Chilli Powder
1x 500g Carton, Passata
3 tbsp Artificial Sweetener
4 tbsp - Balsamic Vinegar
1 tbsp - Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp Mustard Powder
Seasoning (Salt and Pepper)


Notes to me:
Had a great day today, and really enjoyed my tea!! (but not all the washing up!! lol)
Would have been 30pp on a PP day
Found the minimins app for my hudl so very happy! :)

Notes to anyone reading:
I count 1/4 of my BBQ Sauce as 0pp as the only thing in it that is pointed is the 4tbsp Balsamic Vinegar (2pp) and 1 tbsp of that would still be 0pp!!, however if you want to be 100% accurate then e-source points it as 1pp for 1/4!

I didn't mean to not have breakfast, I was just so busy I ran out of morning! lol.
Although E-source / WW app say 200g lamb leg steak, raw is 10pp i went by the NI on the packaging which makes it 8pp.

Tried to join online but there is a problem with it tonight it seems so just mooching through looking for inspiration. Never done F&H......where do you find the information about it?

hello, happy to have you following. hehe yep, i know where it ends, but its also where it begins again! you just pick up where you left off but a few lbs / stones heavier! :)
I still have the information on filling and healthy from when I was going to meetings, basically when you follow the filling and healthy you can eat anything highlighted green on e-source / the app (when you can access it) .... I have also highlighted them in my food diary in bright green! :)
basically you eat only the Green foods till you feel satisfied. not sure how i'm going to get on with the lack of control from PP but i'm giving it a go every few days to see if i can do a few in with pp days and still loose weight :)
basically, as an rough overview you can eat lean meats, fish, WW breads (danish brown, tortillas / wraps, pittas, petit pains), Wholemeal pasta, wholemeal rice, wholemeal couscous, beans and pulses, potatoes, egg, crumpets, Quark, low fat cottage cheese, fat free / low fat plain yoghurt, fat free natural fromage frais, oats, popping corn, Brown sandwich thins.... and all the usual 0pp foods! :)

yep i like to keep things simple and easy to read / follow, and the more the merrier, if i can help others as i go along it makes the journey more worth while :)

i only write the ingredients but if you want any further details of recipes just ask, i'm happy to share (or try to, i make a lot up as i go along and then scribble down ingredients as i throw them in a pan hoping for a good result!), lol ..... like my breakfast Quiche! (which i would make again if i could get the WW tortilla wraps again)!... for some reason Wholewheat tortillas don't count as F&H .... probably cause WW do their own brand! :(

Hello :)

Yep I love F&H days, not sure I'd lose weight having them everyday but I like being able to do my week half F&H and half PP's :)

Yep lost 2.5lbs this week so very happy!! :)
