Good god can they eat
We arrived on Friday evening and they had done a bbq, nothing like the english ones, there was a table probably about 8 ft long with every kind of food on it that you can imagine and that was not including the cooked meat on the bbq, they had around 10 different sorts of meat that they where cooking as well as the table. Anyway got through that ok, BUT then it came to the Saturday morning and breakfast, as I dont eat breakfast this was a little difficult lol. They had around 4-5 different cereals, french toast, english toast and a number of different things Phwwww! I thought the breakfast was bad enough and then came the mid morning snack around 11 and that was as bad as the bbq the night before, then came dinner around 2, mid afternoon snack around 4 (same as the one at 11) then a full blown meal at around 7-8. . The wine came out around 2-3 so you can imagine the state of me by midnight hehe and by 2.30 in the morning when I got to bed, WELL I will let you use your own imaginations on that one .
Sunday ended up being just like Saturday and by the time it came to the afternoon snack I had to tell our cousin that I was not being rude but I never wanted to eat or see food again in my life LOL. (Marie you would love it over there LOL).
When we went to leave on Sunday at around 7 she said she had made some sandwiches for us on the ferry, we got on the ferry and I thought the bag was a little heavy, when I looked in it she had given us 10 different types of sandwiches, choc bars, crisps, chicken pieces and loads more, there where only 3 of us and 2 kids for crying out loud.
We got back around 3 yesterday morning, I went to work and then was ment to be home around 5.30 but there was an accident on the M1 and tailing into the village I live in so got home at 6, wi is at 6.30 so no way I was making that as I had a hen night to go to at 7.30, by 8 I was in the pub and after a number of whiskey and cokes got home around 11 last night.
To top this all off my friend was ment to be having her 17 hr op yesterday but they cancelled it at the last minute due to the fact that they had not got any spare intensive care beds to put her in when she came out of the op, so now all the worry of that to go through AGAIN.
I got on my scales yesterday and I think I have put on around 1.5 lbs so not too bad. I will have to work hard this week to get them back off as a week on Wednesday I am off on our Narrowboat for 2.5 weeks so have to be good this week.
Hope everyone else is doing well and I will hopefully be able to catch up with all the diaries tonight or tomorrow night. I am absolutely knackered but it was worth it

I was for the first day and a half but after that I could'nt possibly have managed any more LOL.Had a Hen night on Monday so MORE drinking!
Now the wedding is today so MORE eating LOL!
Oh and my friend is in surgery today, she went down at around 9 and we should hear something around midnight!
Off to get dress for a blinking wedding now Phw!!!!!!!!

Wedding was brilliant we got there at 3 and left at around 11 last night I did'nt over eat I just had enough but I did have a pavlova for afters which I dont normally do but it looked so good that I had to eat it LOL. I did'nt drink anything though as I think I have had my quota on that one for the past week and I drove instead LOL.
My friend came out of her op at around 8 last night and is now in ITU so I think the worst bit is over with and now just gotta see how she copes with it but I am a lot happier now the actual op is over with.
I go on holiday next wednesday evening starlight for 3 weeks so I will have a lot of catching up to do when I get back.
