Well, I've decided to try and keep a food diary as my diet has been a bit 'all over the place' recently so I definitely need to get back on track. Please feel free to comment and/or point me in the right direction. Thanks.

MONDAY 28TH SEPT (EXTRA EASY)

Breakfast - Raspberries, Strawberries, Grapes, Natural Yoghurt & Sweetener.

Lunch - Lettuce, Peppers, Mushrooms, Beetroot & Egg, Diet Coke, Mullerlight vanilla

Dinner - Beef Stroganoff (Beef, Mushrooms, Peppers, Brown Rice

350 ml Skimmed Milk for coffee (HEXa)
2 Alpen Light Bars (HEXb)

SYNS - 1/2 Cadbury Fudge (2.5)
1/2 pkt Schwartz Beef Stroganoff (3)

TOTAL SYNS - 5.5

TUESDAY 29TH SEPT (EXTRA EASY)

Breakfast - Raspberries, strawberries, grapes, natural yoghurt & sweetener

Snack - Boiled egg & 1 slice wholemeal Nimble (1/2 HEXb)

Lunch - Super Low Fat Noodles Sweet Thai Chilli, apple and Mullerlight banana

Snack - 1 Alpen Light Bar (1/2 HEXb)

Dinner - Pork chop, soy sauce, SW chips and beans, Mullerlight Cherry Layer (2 syns)

HEXa - 250 ml semi-skimmed milk for coffee

Total Syns = 2 syns

Hi there! Try and have a few more syns Hun. Also why not add some bacon with your boiled eggs? How about a "full english?" - bacon quorn sausages (or meat), baked beans, fried egg, mushrooms, fried potatoes - all free on an EE day!
Your'e menu seems quite restrictive...correct, but restrictive - have a look at mine for some ideas...you need to vary your food, otherwise your body gets used to eating the same things daily and your losses wont be as great.

Good luck and well done for choosing SW! Its fantastic!

Thank you so much for having a look at my diary. I do agree with you that my diet is quite restrictive - I do seem to stick to much of the same things (as you will see when I add today's diary). I can't really do a full cooked breakfast as I eat breakfast at work so it really has to be something quick. My weight seems to go down a few pounds, sts, up a pound or two and then back down again - I fear this week will be a gain.

I'm going to post today's diary and then off to have a look at yours.

Thanks again for looking and well done on your fantastic weight loss.

WEDNESDAY 30TH SEPT (EXTRA EASY)

Breakfast - 1 weetabix (1/2 HEXb), banana, milk (HEXa)

Snack - Apple, boiled egg

Lunch - Tesco Mushroom Couscous (1 syn), Mullerlight Cherry Layer (2 syns)

Snack - 1 Alpen Light (1/2 HEXb)

Dinner - SW chips, egg, bacon, baked beans

SYNS - Hifi bar (6 syns) plus 3 as before = 9 syns

THURSDAY 1ST OCT (EXTRA EASY)

Absolutely rubbish day eating, weigh in day so I don't like to eat too much but I spent most of the day running here and there (well that's my excuse)

BREAKFAST - Alpen Light (1/2 HExb) & apple

LUNCH - Grapes, ham & Alpen Light (1/2 HExB)

DINNER - Batchelors Pasta n Sauce Tomato & Herb (Free), Milk (HExA)

SYNS - Hifi Bar (6), Red Wine (6) = 12

Tomorrow is my new start, I have got out my back copies of the SW magazine and my EE cookbook.

The EE cook book is fantastic...so far only made the ham minestrone soup and the kheema curry, but both delicious!

FRIDAY - 2ND OCTOBER (EE)

BREAKFAST - Hifi Bar (HExb), banana

SNACK - Mandarin

LUNCH - Roast Pepper Soup, apple

SNACK - Mullerlight chocolate, raspberries

DINNER - SW Chicken Korma, SW Saffron rice

Milk for coffee (HExA)

SYNS - M&S Snack Sushi (1), Vodka & Slimline Tonic (2.5), 1/2 Curly Wurly (3) = 6.5

Hi,
My Food diary also seems to be limited to the same type of food day in, day out ... But my weight loss has been constant with 2 gains over 3 months, i'm finding that i'm eating more and more rice and struggling to cut down on my portion sizes of this... also with my work i'm finding it hard to make time to cook(which i never did before this diet)
Just like you i dont use many syns, could this help to make it a little more interesting??, i guess only time will tell

Thanks DannyB, I am trying this week to be more adventurous but I think I don't really eat enough. Some days I spend my day racing from one things to another and just forget to eat and then stuff my face later. You have done really well though with your losses, good luck.

SATURDAY 3RD OCTOBER - EXTRA EASY

LUNCH - Egg, smoked salmon and 2 mandarins

SNACK - Alpen Light (1/2 HExB)

DINNER - Steak, SW wedges, onions and mushrooms, Mullerlight

SYNS - Organix Curly Puffs (3.5), 1/2 Curly Wurly (3), Vodka & Slimline Tonic (2.5) = 9

SUNDAY 4TH OCTOBER - EXTRA EASY

BREAKFAST - Raspberries, strawberries, grapes, banana & natural yoghurt

SNACK - Hifi Bar (HEXb), apple, skimmed milk (HEXa)

LUNCH - Roast pepper soup

SNACK - Mullerlight

DINNER - Marks & Spencer Lemon & Herb Chicken (1 syn), SW roast potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, peas, redcurrant jelly (0.5 syns)

EXTRAS - Curly Wurly (6 syns) = Total syns for day 7.5

Hi again, and thanks for you comment :) just out of interest do you still feel hungry after at the end of the day??, if so i would try eating rice and pasta(if you can that is), i've just found a new way to keep my self full with supernoodles you can add some frozen veg to them and there a great snack and only take 8mins in total.. Good Luck :)

Thanks DannyB, sometimes I'm hungry but its usually for some chocolate LOL. I have recently discovered Low Fat Supernoodles and they are becoming a favourite, just a bit worried about the salt content.
