Coke Zero?

There's no citric acid in it, but it can make some people feel hungry. It's not on the lists of things we're allowed, but there's no calories in it, no fat, no sugar, so it's upto you if you want to try it. It tends to make me hungrier though, so I tend to steer clear.

i've been told by my new CDC that we can have coke zero especially if your struggling with the water intake like i am, she also said we can have flavoured water, said she drank it throughout her whole 'diet' (she's now maintaining) but i'm not so sure on the flavoured water side surely that has calories in it

I had Coke Zero one week on my first round of SS+ and that week I didnt lose anything!!!!! even though I was 100%.. admit I had bout 2 cans a day ooops but :( really made me sad that week lol

Go careful on it is my advice

I love Coke Zero and would love to be able to have a can a day!

I have had a glass the last few days and my weight loss is going fine. I just sometimes need something extra or I would fall of the wagon!

My sister had a can a day and lost 29lbs in 4 weeks.

I have a can of coke zero most days and hasn't seemed to make any difference, I also have water flavouring in all 3 litres (half a teaspoon in each) I just can't drink plain water.xx

officially its a no

i have sparkling water with the berry flavoring in it as my nightly "treat"

I have a bottle of flavoured water on my desk (now refilled with tap water) and it's 2kcal per 100ml so if you drank the whole litre, it'd only be 20kcal which isn't enough to affect your weight loss.

I had 2 small bottles as my Saturday treat at the in-laws when everyone else was on the plonk, didn't affect my loss and most importantly it stopped me feeling totally left out and deprived. I plan to have coke zero as my Saturday treat on this cd journey. x

I have a small glass of coke zero if im socialising or am craving something sweet. Be careful with bought flavoured waters tho, especially the fizzy ones as most have citric acid in, some of the still ones have malic acid which is ok x

There are 1.2 cals in a portion of CD water flavourings ;)

I'd love to have Coke Zero every day, but in the back of my mind, I'd think 'I wonder if I'd have lost more without it?' there is no way to know, is there? so I'm going to try and not have it unless I am feeling very deprived.

Of course, if it's the difference between caving in and having a can of coke zero, coke zero wins every time :) I might keep one in the fridge for emergencies

I have a can of coke zero every day! So does my OH and we have been doing fine on the diet so far (I think!!). It makes me feel fuller too which is a bonus. It's good for when you're really craving something sweet.

officially - no
however, it was allowed back in 2005 when i first did cd. when i returned in 2008 it was just being phased out.

the issue is not hunger or cals it's basically....

cd takes you away from easy processed options and it's trying to re-educate your thinking.

i have coke zero some nights. it's a help. if you need it then i would say an odd can now and again might help you cope with the diet better.

Its syn-free in Slimming World!
I love it :) x

Hi
