Cold weather munchies

Morning all, how you all doing? Keeping warm and safe in the snow I hope.

I have the munchies at the moment, putting it down to the fact its cold and winter! Does anyone else have this? Ive had Oat So Simple for breakfast this morning but now im craving some spaghetti! Trying not to have some as its a little early still (right?!). I have a yoghurt but its too cold to eat and want something hot. I have no fruit either :( Im on an EE day today so what can I have that is yummy, warm and filling? Spaghetti?! lol

Ah well! Hope you all have a nice weekend :)

id change to a green day and have lots of slimming world potato wedges with some quorn chilli con carne with hex a of grated cheese on top mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm:)

There are lots of ideas on this thread, I personally love to make curry, my recipe is posted on the other thread.

I do agree that green is easier when I'm in that kind of mood - I'd change too! I decide what day I'm going to do based on how I feel, and often make sure I have a neutral breakfast so I can decide around about 11am when the cravings kick in :D I'm not sure you're supposed to do that but it works for me.

Sounds lush but im having a curry tonight (lamb rogan josh and boiled rice totalling 6.5 syns on an ee day)! Going to hold out and cook some dried spicey noodles (sharwoods ones are lush) and whack in some mixed veg xx

I've been finding this too, I usually take a sandwich to work but it just doesnt cut it in this weather!! xxxx

i find green days are best in this weather filling jacket spuds, pasta and rice mmmm

i do ee and if i cant add the extra veg to the meal i make it up in the day with fruit as in this weather i usually have jacket or something else hot and substantial
