Collar bones

Shopaholic

is back to finish the job
I can feel them emerging from the flab :) This morning as I was brushing my teeth I could see them just starting to show!!! So excited, I think collar bones are sooooo elegant.

Anything you can't wait to see?

collar bones

Hip bones

Now the hip bones one is a stange one, because I can have a BMI of healthy-overweight and hipbones will show at front when standing up. I think I have a strange body make up.

Hubby V excited as walking down street other day and he had his arm around me. Now normally his arms wouldn't have gone quite so far around, but he could feel a hardness at my hips. Normally he could just feel either hip fat or my belly apron  (you know when you get so much belly weight it kind of divides into two, upper and lower belly?). He wasn't being horrid just honest.

Other non scale victories include

Complete lack of a double/triple chin

Being able to wear normal knee high boots and not ones from specialist shops
Ability to use a normal bath towel, have it go all the way around and not a bath sheet
Being able to wear smaller designs of pants without me thinking I look like I'm wearing butchers string.
EBAY! So much more nicer stuff in the smaller sizes
Feet not being as sore after wearing heels.
Both me and hubby fitting in one bus seat and not me half hanging into the aisle getting banged with shopping.

Oh theres so much more than just the number on the scales.

RIBS! i can actually feel ribs and hipbones too. amazing.

being able to cross my legs and look confortable, not like before when i would huff and puff and still feel really uncomfortable.

oh aye the sticky knee/calf thing? By the time you got one knee hooked over the other it looked like you were trying to show people what you'd had for breakfast, the you had the big red angry patch where the weight of your leg has pressured the skin.

i know, and i would make this involuntary groaning noise when crossing legs, all the while thinking i looked really elegant and ladylike with crossed legs when really i must have looked ridiculous!

i love love love feeling my collar bones i had forgot about them for so long hadn't seen them in over 3 years so thats wonderful,
when i lie in bed i can feel all my ribs i love it ( don't get me wrong you can't see them lol that would be gross )
but i love being about to feel them!

ahh this diet is bliss .... and yes shopping in "normal"size clothes shops is wonderful i even have got a bit fashionable lol

I love my hipbones, my collar bones are not particularly defined as I seem to be losing weight slower from my top half than my bottom half... I really need to lose my last stone from above my waist and not below....

I've found that I am making more of an effort going out now too.

Previously I would have worn exactly what I'm wearing in my before pic, just with hair down and make up, now am more likely to make more of an effort. Becoming a bit of a clothes horse actually. Still feel a bit self conscious mind, but thats not going to ever go if I don't try to get used to it.

Oh I forgot about the feet!

I could see my feet for the first time in ages without having to almost a) bend in half of b) hold in my boobs with one hand and belly with other.

Oh I love having collar bones too, I never had them before so they are my pride and joy :).
Also when I lie down I feel my hip bones jutting out, love it! Can't see them when I stand up though, actually it's really only when I lie on one side, but still I can feel them.
Lexie, pretty much everything you said is how I feel, the lack of double chin, the boots, everything.
I love it all :)

congratulations...
IO had my own collar bone moment the other day... I have also longed for BAS (Bony ass syndrome) which I am now getting....

I also never thought I would enjoy having nobbley knees!!

The one thing I am desperate to see properly again is my cheekbones!! Then I know I have arrived :)

x

You've all made me laugh, looking forward to the hip bones, I can feel mine when I lie down too - hope it won't be long before they are "feelable" all the time!

Double stomach just about describes mine at the moment - not attractive!

Can't wait for BAS Tilly :)

I'm looking forward to be able to cross my legs and not look like I need a crane to get them apart again...

I live for the day I meet my collar bones.... and not sure I will recognise my feet! Keep up the good work, your keeping me motivated.

For someone with a permanent moonface, or was, I can see my cheekbones and my cheeks go in and give my face definition. My OH can no longer sing Moonface.com at me and mean it!!!

Great posts :) I am looking forward to being able to paint my toenails without compressing my tummies into my lung space & cutting oxygen supply!!! Ditto for doing up buckles on shoes :)

I'd be responding "couchsleep.com" or "crotchkick.com" to that I'm afraid.
