Confessions of a loser...

Good luck for the weigh in today hun, I also have a liquid only day on my weigh in. I went on a heavy stomach a few weeks ago and gained 2lbs... weighed myself at home the next day and it was gone. I can't wait to get my weigh in over with so I can have my tea lol :) I have started including heavy exercise into my routine now and I had a small gain at first and then I started going down again. I noticed the numbers are not as big, which is why I started taking measurements as well and I noticed inches had gone just not a few lbs, they say muscle weighs more than fat but is smaller (don't know if that's fact of fiction though).

I am hoping you have gone on a great holiday, and if when you come back you have gained well you know you can do it,, so come back and let us know how its all going, i went to a different class this week as i couldnt make my normal one..... and gained 5lbs hoping it was the different scales! we shall see next week. looking forward to hearing from you soon x

Im so sorry Ive been on the missing persons list the last two months!
Ive been having a really rough time and I felt bad coming on because I was embarrassed about not doing so well!
BUT ive decided im not faffing about any more! I started this wanting to loose all my weight and I WILL do it!
Ive not lost 4 stone 5 lbs to date. Which I am ecstatic with!
Since my Birthday its been SOOOOO hard for me to get back my motivation! But ive realised now that wallowing in my self pitty and hiding away from everybody so that I dont have to talk about it is the wrong way to go! Which is why Im so happy to come back on here!
My last big weight loss was the week after my birthday and id lost 5 and a half lbs I think. Since then ive been loosing a 1-2 lbs and put on a couple of half pounds and a 1 and half pounds. I really dont know what wrong with me!
Whats made me rethink what Im doing??? WELL tonight in group a girl joined (who was our consultants husbands student) and she had lost an amazing 10 stone in 11 and a half months!!!! Im still in shock. And now im just like "Well shes done it, why cant I bloody do it!!!"
Im back and ready for action =D
EVERYBODY has been telling me how I look amazing and they cant get over how much Ive lost and today a girl from work actually said to me "Oh my god rachael, how skinny have you gone!" I was actually nearly crying because its the FIRST time in my whole life ive been refered to as skinny! Getting slightly emotional again now haha.
I weigh 18 stone 8 pounds now! Which I havent weighed since I was 16!
Ive set my self a goal to kick my ass back into action! Ive been asked to be godmother for my friends little boy and his christening is on 28th of July. I want to have lost 5 stone 7 pounds by then so Im going to need all the help and support you guys are willing to offer!
I know how fabulous I do when I come on here every night and let you guys know how Im doing, what ive been eatting and how im feeling so that is EXACTLY what Im going to do!
Again, my apologies for not coming on in so long! I feel so bad for it! But I hope you all can forgive me and help me =D

Thought id give myself a little boost making this picture.
The first picture was from my 19th. I was about 23-22 stone. When I was 18 (25 stone 2 lbs) my mum paid for me to get a gastric band. Id lost about 3-4 stone with it in the first few months and ever since it hasnt done anything else for me. It doesnt even feel like its there any more.
The second picture was New years eve 2012 the week before starting slimming world. Id put on about 2 stone (22 stone 13lbs).
The third picture was st patrics night. I felt amazing in this dress because I know how awful I looked in it on NYE and it was now fitting me well.
The last picture was from the 11th of May at my friends 21st

Nice to see you are back Rachael, well done on losing a stone since we last saw you that's fab! At least you didn't slip off and GAIN a stone. Of course you can do it, you can do anything you want. You should do it in your own time, don't rush it and enjoy yourself! My weight loss has slowed down as well but I am keeping at it and I will get there eventually, so will you as long as you don't give up! You are looking absolute gorgeous as always, I admire your confidence a lot :) x
 
Woo hoo good to see you back hun. Well done on losing another stone that's amazing and you are looking great. Don't worry about going AWOL for a little bit most important thing is that your back and raring to go :) x

Ive just remembered... I promised a picture of me in the dress I was trying to fit in for one of my 21st nights out...

Todays been a good day! I ate fruit for breakfast and for lunch I had batchelors tomato pasta using my HEX A milk, mixed in a couple of spoon fulls of choped tomatos, a whole onion, some peas and some cooked frozen chicken tikka that i bought from iceland. Very filling! For dinner im going to have chicken spears (free from iceland) with a nice salad!
Oh ive gone down a size in scrubs at work too!! Which Im so happy about! I was the largest size and they had hardly any in theatres so i used to have to take mine home to wash (which you really shouldnt do!) so that id have some, id have to hide them in my locker and sneak them outta my bag when i thought nobody was watching (which is like THE hardest thing to do!) But now I just swan into work, go pick up my normal sized scrubs from the scrub room and get changed without having to hide my scrubs! Its a silly little thing but its really made a difference. I actually feel more normal rither than singled out because i think I was the only person wearing that size (and everybody know what size you are because it is sized by colour which is on your collar for everybody to see!). I just feel 100% better for losing this weight! I just need to keep thinking this way to keep me motivated.
Im gunna try and fit in time to read my old posts to keep me going as well.
My ideal weight is below 11 stone to be in the healthy bmi range. And ive worked out if I loose just 2 pounds a week, this exact time next year I will be healthy! Yay!

you look great well done.... its not easy is it? i have had a very bad few weeks, and well need a kick up the backside, everything has gone wrong, and i could make a hundred excuses,, i didnt go to sw this week and the week before i gained 2lbs, really dont want to go back tuesday but i have to, god knows what damage i have managed to do, i was so focused and would follow the plan perfectly, then whoops, but i suppose thats how i got this big in the first place, and i will go back face the music and get back on the losing wagon.... so pleased you are back your progress is inspiring,

Your dress was lovely hunni, you looked fabulous. What a great nsv too it's one of the worst things feelings that your weight is making you obviously stand out from everybody else when usually we do our hardest to blend in with the crowd.

What an amazing thought that this time next year you could be at healthy weight I do try as stick to thinking of smaller goals as the big ones scare me but I'm a little bit heavier than you are so that means I also would be at healthy with 2lbs a week in 12 months time now that's a thought to keep ya motivated thanks hun.

I felt EXACTLY that way a few weeks ago. I really didnt want to go to group because I know how bad id been. But I thought no im gunna go because this is how I was in the past when id joined weightwatchers and its just a way to let myself off with how bad id been. I went to group and told them how id been struggeling and that I was gutted because i didnt know where all my motivation had gone and there was at least 3-4 people who said exactly the same thing and we all said that we felt better we wernt on out own and other people were struggeling to.
Make yourself go to group. Remember, your doing this for yourself. Not going is punishing yourself because its only going to encourage you to fall into bad habbits of being bad and not going to group and undoing all the hard work youve already done!
Group is there for support! As our consultant always says "when youve had a good week, your group needs you and when youve had a bad week, you need the group"

Im the same. I want to loose 8 stone by the end of the year which is just 3 stone 8lbs away in 6 months! I will be happy if I got to goal next year but my main goal is to be healthy for my graduation which is in 2014. So Im not putting pressure on myself by saying "I HAVE to be healthy this time next year" Its just a nice thought to keep me going that even if I loose just 1-2 lbs a week the weight is still going to shift. I often get a bit demotivated if ive been really good and only lost 1-2 lbs so im trying to get outta the negative thinking!
Your doing great by the way! Well done!
