I have a points calculator on my blackberry and work out things as I go along.

Some things are calculating a 0 points such as

    1 Ryvita (31cals, 0g sat fat and 1.8g fibre)
1 Bridelight Cheese (19cals, 0.3g sat fat and 0g fibre)

If I had them together it is 1 point but if I calculate them separately it's 0.

I have other things like a salad dressing at 0pt/portion and chutney at 0pts too. I wouldn't have these together but at separate meals - do these still get counted as 0 points or should I say 0.5?

Confused, sorry if it's rambly

You need another points calculator... sounds like youre using a US one.... UK WW doesnt factor in fibre.

Ryvitas arent free Im afraid, never have been nor are cheeses. The only 0 point things are very very low fat salad dressing, veggies and sugar free jelly.

Get rid of that calculator quickly before you go way over your points

Oh no! I've calculating everything wrongly then except the recipes from the WW website. I don't have and can't get a UK calculator as I'm overseas but I can knock one up in Excel if anyone knows the formula for checking how many points are in something :)

divide the calories by 70, and the saturated fat by 4, then add the two numbers together and round to the nearest half a point.

there used to be loads of people who had a readymade spreadsheet but dont know who's still about who has one.. will have an ask about xxx

    Hi,

    Thanks for your help everyone!
I managed to get the UK WW site to accept my "furrin" credit card so I am all set to get re-started!
I'm just home from a long weekend away so re-pointing everything and get organised for a bootcamp approach from tomorrow :)
