confused by hidden carbs

so if something shows trace carbs , it could still have some in ??????

how do you work out how many it has really got then ????? by the sugar ????

my pork scratchings have trace carbs but they have dextrose in the ingredients ..........?
any help would be good , i've read the hidden carbs link , but i still dont get it :confused::confused:

I wouldn't worry too much about hidden carbs unless you are stalled love. I was lucky really, when I started Atkins I was using the '72 book and that basically espoused the theory that you should only eat unprocessed meats and green leaf veggies during induction, so that's what I did.
