really confused about weight conversion (converting lbs to stones) i googled this and have looked on 3 different sites and they say different things 2 sites and the converter on my phone say 165lb is 11.785714215 but another one says its 11st 11
which one is right and why do they say different

Hiya 165lbs if 11 stone and 11lbs. Think the difference is between english and american conversions.

there are 14lbs in 1 stone

14 X 11 stone = 154 lbs
165 - 154 = 11lbs

thanks for that is weird though as one of the sites has been converted to UK stone and its still coming out as 11.785 very strange

11.785714215 is the same as 11st 11lbs

3/4 of something is 0.75, 11lbs is just over 3/4 of a stone.

WOW thats way to much for my head to take in lol think i will stick to 14lbs in a stone method and steer clear of the conversion sites ha ha
