Cooked tinned fruit

Hi guys and gals

Can anybody tell me how many syns would be in a can of tinned peaches please? I'll be adding them to a pan, so they will be heated so could count as 'cooked'... which is why I'm confused!

Details on can are:

250g drained peach slices in light syrup

Per 100g
Energy 60kcal
Fat less than 0.5g
Fat of which saturated less than 0.1g
Carbs 14g
Carbs of which sugar 14g
Fibre 0.9g
Protein 0.6g
Salt 0.03g.

In the book canned peaches in syrup is 3syns EE. And cooked its 1.5 syns. So that's 4.5syns for 100g of cooked peaches from the tin. So going on the safe side it is!

Canned peaches are cooked anyway - the canning process cooks them.

I would say its just the 3 syns per 100g for the tinned ones even if you then heat them as the 1.5 refers to fresh (free) peaches that are then cooked. The tinned ones are already processed hence the syns so you wouldnt need to count the process twice in my view
