Cooking with the toffee bar.

You know how you can make biscuits out of the lemon bar - can you do the same out of the toffee bar? Just thought I'd ask before I give it a go.

I think I am following you around on this forum!

I made biscuits from the toffee one earlier, and am afraid to say did not spread like the lemon ones, and even burnt so could not get all the crums of the plate! :eat:

Taste fine, but not very biscuit like. I trieds the same with fruit bar a few weeks ago, also went the same way.

Let me know if you have anymore success than this

I do biscuits with the toffee bar all the time. You just have to keep an eye on them in the microwave and catch them just before they start to turn darker. Enjoy!!

:D oooooh toffee bars make lovely biscuits :p

Personally I think they are nicer cooked in the oven rather than the microwave, cut them up, roll into a ball, flatten down onto a teflon sheet if you have one. Put in oven, middle or low shelf, not the top! and keep a close eye on them...
Yummy :D

wow, never thought of doing it that way.

Would try, but of course had my bar allowance today

thanks for that idea

Thanks ladies :)

Will try them - thought I had a toffee bar left for tonight but it turns out I've used the 2 I bought this week so I'm making chocolates instead.

Will try them next week in both the microwave and the oven.
