I love the cottage pie but i make mine into soup! I find that if you add half a stock cube and 200 to 250 mills of water and microwave for two minutes it makes a lovely chowder type of soup. If you vary the stock cube flavours and add bovril then you can vary the flavour slightly. Next idea is a lamb stock pot cube and some dried mint. Might be like a roast dinner lol. Gonna try this tonight as my ohter half is haveing a proper roast dinner. He's enduring horrible chemotherapy at the minute and i have to do anything i can to give him an appetite, so i am feeling very virtuous ignoring roasts.
