Couch to 5K with SW!

Morning all
I hope you don't mind me jumping on the bandwagon but I thought I'd start to blog my exercise logs along with my SW thoughts and feelings.

SO here goes! I'm doing the Race for Life in Bath on June 6th, and my boyfriend has set me the challenge of running it. I began running in January and I couldn't run more than a few metres. I'm now doing about 1.5m (3k) but I need to step this up to achieve my goal so I decided to give the Couch the 5K programme ago along with Slimming World to try and boost my weight loss.

Here goes....

Weigh in tonight and lost 1.5lbs, not bad considering my Pimms slip up on Saturday! Had a cheeky curry and then went out with my housemate to do the W1D1 of the programme. Found it quite easy so thought I'd jump up to W3D1 when I run on my own and stick with W1 with her.

Feeling very positive about it!

Nice run tonight, did C25K W1R3 tonight with my housemate then we walked the rest so a really nice round route being out for an hour.

Had a Green day yesterday and really enjoyed it, followed by EE today.

Feeling more fit and confident now so it's all going okay!

Decided to jump to Week 3 and did 3.5km in 23mins so getting there slowly.

Also did a LOT of walking today; at least another 3.5km so doing well I think :)

Made a bit of an error though; I was in London for a course and decided to grab an M&S meal for lunch; chose a sweet chilll chicken pasta with almonds thinking it would be really low in syns, but nope, its 11! I couldn't believe it, I could have had a really nice sandwich for that!!!

Just popped in to wish you luck with the running.
I'm doing Race for Life at the end of June, have never run in my life and have just finished the first week of my training programme.
First day, thought I was going to die, but just a week later and I'm starting to really enjoy it!
