you can't put on 1lb in a day. Not unless it's water retention. I can fluctuate by several lbs during the course of a week.
Stick to the one weigh day a week and do your best to stay off the scales - otherwise, it can bring you such disappointment on a daily basis other than a weekly high.
I used to think a 1lb loss was pathetic and insignificant... so when some weeks I didn;t lose, I'd really get upset.
But - it you haven't eaten 3500 calories EXTRA to your base intake - you havent put on 1lb fat.
Try googling for 1lb of fat - wait until you see a picture. It's truly GROSS. When you lose even 1lb after seeing that - you'll know you are doing good !
Like those calories - if you arent eating loads of things you shouldnt and sticking to whatever your diet plan is - you can't be futting fat on.
Cheer up...
