Have ordered my exante packs and am counting down to Day 1 , as I have a weekend away on 5/6th March,I have given myself the start date of the 7th March and every day I pop in here and read all your stories and am already getting excited about the possibilty of not being fat forever. I have done a VLCD before (AllAboutW8) and lost 3st but didn't learn anything and promptly put it all back on again,thought I had everything under control but I didn't and was all the way back to the beginning again, I had that brief fabulous moment of being thinner and threw it all away ,brief and fabulous because I have been fat since I was 2 and I hate it , I am sooooo determined that this is going to be the last year that I get out of breath going up the stairs ,the last year I can't find fab things to wear ,the last year I say no to doing things because I don't want to be seen out or be laughed at because of my size ......March the 7th is going to be the start of something wonderful. So this next week until I start I am going to be cutting out the carbs, upping the water consumption and getting on the treadmill and reading all your stories and comments to get me revved up and ready to go.............it has to work I have bought 2 bumper packs :D

Hi Trish, I'm in a similar position. Lost 3st with the Cambridge Diet and put it all back plus more. I've got my Exante shakes ready but Im waiting til Thurs as I work nights and can't face the first few days of a VLCD whilst at work. Not least because of all the toilet breaks!

Hi Trish, I have been just the same as you. Lost about 2 1/2 stone on the cd and really loved being slim -briefly- I could wear trousers and little jumpers, just throw on some jeans and pop on a top even if it didn't cover my bum up! - I loved it but threw it away by letting the bad habits slip in and like you I have no one to blame but myself. I can now feel every extra pound on my body now as if I am wearing a fat suit and I hate it :-(

But after starting exante earlier in jan then stopping I am re-starting tomorrow!! I have 17 days left and just need to do each day at a time! Just need to tell hubby later, not sure he will be very pleased but I've dabbled with a couple if other diets and once you have done a vcld it's very hard to deal with slow losses!
