    Hello All

Just thought i'd update you all after my 'V V Bad cramps' post of the other day and the huge number of responses I got - thanks for that :)

Well I went to the docs, he was supportive of me doing the diet BUT did say that the SS programme was very harsh for the intestines and that in his opinion the 790 plan was far more sensible. Apparently sole sourcing gives the intestines nothing to 'chomp' on so they become 'lazy' so if you then eat a plateful of food it's too much of a shock and some people can experience the severe cramping and indigestion that i did. He said that if I must do the sole source programme and I am going to eat then I would have to plan a food intake for 3 days prior, gradually building up the amounts. What a faff !!

I've decided to stick to Sole Source for another week then i'm going to start introducing food and I wont be going back to SS i dont think. It has been great but I think healthy food is best for me :)

I've been on SS for 5 weeks (had a wobbly week so added another week of SS before doing Add a Meal), i've lost 16 Ibs in the 5 weeks and have another 14 Ibs to go. So its not like i've been on SS forever ... I think my body is just a bit odd :)
