craving carbs...

    evening ladies n gents..

    quick question, i normally crave sandwiches n crisps n basicly starchy food at this time of night, any suggestions on what i can eat/do to curb it??

    hi mate

    basically your just craving simple carbs, because of the glucose etc levels in your body....replace it with a protien based snack late at night, as your body will struggle to break down the carbs while you are asleep....protien will just be stored (not as fat) and used the next day.

    try nuts, or fruit (not banana) or some natural yoghurt, or if you really want bread...then 1 slice of granery bread with butter :D

    I always have a few almonds at night.
