Crazy Cat Lady's Flab-Wrangling Food Diary

First things first:

I am following SW on line;
it's the US version;
I have nothing other than a version of Extra Easy in the US notes and booklets, but have all my old SW Red and Green books including cookery books from about eight or nine years ago, so could do Red or Green days if I wanted to;
so far I am finding eating a mix of all the Free Foods along with my HEA and B to be more than adequate.

Okay, so, obviously at time of first post it is not that long since breakfast, so I shall update this when I have done more than just eat breakfast!

I think that's been a pretty good day, all told. 13 Syns for the day is not too shoddy at all, considering I usually come in around 7.5-8 Syns daily. A goodly-sized Chinese takeaway for dinner, with lots of broccoli, mushrooms and carrots and beansprouts, although I am amazed that it comes in at 5 Syns for a bowl of Hot & Sour soup!

If I am a little hungry later, I shall have a bowl of strawberries and fat-free Quark. Syn free and delicious. I love eating like this!

Whoops!

Late lunch/early dinner featured three pieces of chicken from Popeye's, two biscuits, a spoonful of mac and cheese, a spoonful of coleslaw, a couple of spoons of red beans and rice and half a portion of popcorn shrimp.

Apart from that, I had a tub of fresh fruit salad and a wholegrain English muffin with cooked chicken.

Weigh in tomorrow - oh dear! And Auntie Flo turned up today, almost two weeks early!!
 
Felt lousy yesterday! Had a lovely breakfast: kedgeree made with smoked halibut, Egg Beaters, cooked rice, peas, corn, mushrooms, a shake of cumin, and served with a pack of steamed asparagus sprinkled with Butter Buds. Really gorgeous!

Come dinner time, felt horrible. I just wanted crisps and chocolate. So that's what I ate!

However, today I am back on it (after losing a good amount of weight yesterday, how could I not be?) and so far today I've had a brunch of vegetarian sausage patties, Canadian bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, three tablespoons of baked beans and a pot of Egg Beaters. Dinner is going to be a mixed grill done on the barbecue, with a big mixed salad.

I'm not sure at all whether I got the Syns right for the BK. I will have to check - seems a lot for what it was!

EDIT: Using the Syns calculator on the SW site (US) and the nutritional info from Burger King, the grilled chicken sandwich (classic, in Germany) is a mere 10 Syns! And I ate it with a salad! Whooooo! I've eaten far fewer Syns than I thought!

34Again, feeling as though I am eating for the sake of it. May have to rethink how I deal with my HEA and B7.5


I have a recipe for Oopsie rolls - gluten free, flour free, fat free rolls. 3 ozs fat free cream cheese; 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar; 3 eggs. Split egg whites from yolks and whisk with cream of tartar until stiff. Whisk egg yolks and cream cheese together. Stir in the beaten egg whites, being careful not to break them up. Drop six equal amounts on to a baking sheet sprayed with fry light and bake at 300 degrees Fahrenheit (150 C) (gas mark 2) for 30 minutes. I believe these should be a HEA - not quite a whole one, and Syn-free so far as I can tell?
