    On Friday night I'm going out for a curry....
    I will be on a green day and was thinking of using chicken as a HE....
    Or I'm happy to stick to veggies...
    I need some advice for main...
    Will deffo have boiled rice.
    any suggestions for starter or sides I can have or avoid?

    Tomato-based sauces like Jalfrezi are cheapest syn-wise. Avoid anything creamy like Korma, Pasanda etc.

    In the book it gives Chicken Jalfrezi 18.5 on green, so minus 6 as a HEX for the chicken, free boiled rice and you've got 12.5 syns.

    Dhansak is the same syns as Jalfrezi, chicken Tandoori is 21 so 15 without the HEX.

    Veggie curries are between 5 and 10 if they're not creamy so cheapie cheap! :)

    Chicken biriyani is 12.5 on green.... take off 6 for HE and only 6.5 syns!!

    what about just an average chicken curry from a chinese take away, i know the boiled rice is free, and the portion of curry from a fish and chip shop is listed as 6 syns in the book, but what about a chinese chicken curry, anyone any idea how many syns? thanks
