I'm confused.
Do you mean milk?
Cheese?

Why would people eat dairy at all if they get a bad taste in their mouth?

Is this something you've only experienced during attack?
(Because a metalic taste is a symptom of ketosis, but is not linked specifically to dairy)
 
dont get why you are confused, for example, i ate my natural yog and had a nasty aftertaste, same if i put skimmed milk in my tea! didnt happen before the diet so was asking if anyone else had the same experience.

Since starting the diet (you are still in attack I assume?) you have noticed that dairy products don't taste the same as they did before.

No. I didn't have this specific experience, and I haven't heard of it before.

However, one of the symptoms of the attack phase and the first onset of ketosis is an unpleasant metallic taste in the mouth, (but not specifically linked to dairy). This may be the problem.

Don't worry - it passes as soon you move into cruise. If it worries you, move into cruise straight away.
