Day 1 tomorrow

Well done on the 3lbs toodlies :)

So first weigh in done. I cried. I lost 4lb. Just a shock after seeing how well other people do and I have been 100%, drinking 3L of water a day and just feel a bit blah. Gonna keep going of course. 4lb is still 4lb closer to my goal and 4lb closer to being healthier. My consultant was a star. She hugged it out with me and said I may have slower progress with my weightloss due to my pcos but should see the results in inches instead. I am quite pleased to say that I lost 6inches. But I dunno. I feel I've let everyone down somehow. :( first week should be the big week and I just don't understand why it hasn't come across on the scales.

i am almost home after a really long day am sat on the train and just managed a banana tetra shake!

today hasnt been difficult to do as been busy travelling to edinburgh and then in meetings but it meant i didnt get any CD products down me until 5pm! i did drink lots of water and have a couple of coffees one a latte with skimmed milk but i wouldnt normally leave it so late in eating!!
great that i didnt feel hungry (apart from when my boss was tucking into a nice looking sandwich !!!)

to be honest though i didnt want one

Ceebo - don't be disappointed!! 4lbs is 4lbs and it's definitely better off than on!! Don't compare urself to others this is your journey and you are doing it for you!!! 6 inches is amazing aswell!! Chin up n on with the next week when your gonna lose again xx

Ceeboo well done. Losing weight with pcos is hard. But you just lost 4lbs! It wasn't easy but you worked and you earned it. You deserve to have lost more but it will keep coming off and you will get lighter and healthier and feel so much better about yourself for it! Plus 6 inches is a week is brilliant. All your clothes must be baggy already.

You haven't let anyone down you most certainly haven't let yourself down and this should be all about you and your journey! Btw my first week was 5lbs I don't have pcos. But I made my mind up to stick to it and follow it through to the end. I'm 1lb from goal and moving up the steps to normal eating. It really can be done. Just don't let this get you down. Dust yourself off and keep plugging away at it! Xxx

Ceeboo, well done! 4lbs is great. I have done ww for years and most I ever lost a week was 3 so your doing great and 6 INCHES!!! That's amazing! In one week too!

Would maybe move the water up to 4lts including your products? I drink 3.5 of pure water and 500 mls in my evening shake. See if that makes in any difference!

Don't be disheartened, you can do this. Look at tigg, 1 lb off goal. Inspiration. I have been googling clothes I want to buy when I get that far and picturing myself wearing them. It motivates me to keep going when I'm having a weak moment.
 
Morning Amigos and welcome aboard Kate! :) I'm on 810 now and weighed in this morning and i've gained a pound so i am not a happy bunny! Official weigh in is on Sunday so it better come off (and some!!!) before then! Just done some pumpkin patch shopping for Freya for barbados (sorry savings account!). Its distracting from the fact that she's away until thursday evening :( Feel better soon Autumn! On whatsapp pretty much permanently if needed lol Tigg, i do love getting about a bit lol they are just long days when i go away with work and my colleagues always seem to insist on "working Dinner" and "working breakfast". They dont seem to get that if i am in the office that i dont wish to spend my morning AND evening with them, i have my own thing to do! I have plymouth, glouchester, sheffield, and ipswich in the next 2- months too! Diet wise, 100%, the gain on the scales bothers me. Its probably because i am full of sh*t! lol. Wimbledon was more like a doubles match yesterday but it wasnt even half of what my belly wanted to get rid of! I have those husk tablets, and im back on the water retention tablets too so i really rattle! In the depot for a meeting this morning and then wfh this afternoon to write a report so having my products earlier and more spaced out. oh, and matt really isnt the one for me Kate! He's an AMAZING kisser, but there was none of that this weekend (would have made it better if there was). He called me Matey/Dude....it made me want to stab him in the eye with a fork! xxx

haha i have my moments, although i'm now back home and on the sofa with a jumper on! HOW COLD!!! I worked out pilates is only 100 calories so im still going to be about 750 cals a day now. its frustrating. According to a calorie counting App i now use, my 810 is more like 900.....but its all in accordance with the CD weights? This confuses me! oh i hope you go before weigh in hun! How are you finding step 4? I have to have another look at your food ideas message becuase im still having boring old rocket and tuna/cottage cheese combo most nights. Are quorn Fillets allowed or is it just mince and pieces? Work is already t055! Had a meeting this morning that has given me a mega headache! I hate working with morons! Where is Ian?!?!?!?! Isnt he back yet? xx

Do you like eggs lizz? I had two boiled eggs with watercress, cucumber, spring onion and balsamic the other day and it was lush. Didn't photo it for ********* as my battery died, but it looked very pretty. It's all so filling this SS+ lark!

I rocked a maxi dress to work today and was freezing because if air con in office. Only when I left for the day did I realise how ruddy hot it was out there!
 
Yes you can use quorn fillets. There's quite a lot you can have on step 2. Just keep going with it you'll find the weight will come off easily enough! Are you veggie? Try some different leaves or add pickles that's be an easy change. If you want any more suggestions or how to prepare tips on the food then let me know. The thing about step 2 is that though the calories are important to me They weren't as important as choosing foods that kept me in ketosis. I was sts today. For my first week on step4 (with a visit to the chocolate heaven of Bruges at the weekend too!) I'm ok with that. Second week of step4 coming up. I thought he would be back by now! Maybe his Turkish food baby is still in gestation so he's letting that settle before coming back? Xxx

Pickles... What sort, like gherkins? They could be nice....Also I'm veggie and would love any prep tips you can offer, anything else other than balsamic that can be used as sauce?

I'm still weighing everything religiously.....Who knew how heavy Cauliflower is?!! Will it really make a difference if I'm a tad over in broccoli? X

Ceeboo - I can imagine that you are feeling down about the weigh in, it probably won't be much comfort to say that it's all in the right direction, but as you have been 100%, you can't deny yourself that victory! You did good, and 6inches!! Wowzers! I didn't get that in first week! Keep going with it, it's a long game, not a quick win x

Sam - hello! How are you finding it? Sorry to hear you're support is not great at home. This forum and ********* have been a godsend for me personally, especially with the banter, support and advice. And that can happen even when you don't post on here, just by reading all these ladies helpful posts! good luck with the start if your journey anyway! x

Pickles like gherkins and pickled red cabbage they give a bit of a different texture and flavour. You can use any spices so if you're veggie have you tried marinating tofu in a smidge of chilli and lime before cooking? Or what about using cottage cheese as a mayo alternative for your egg? I have prawn cocktail with cottage cheese a splash of Tabasco and cayenne for flavour! Spanish style omelette with mushroom, spinach (or whatever veg you have in!) is good too! I use salt, pepper, chilli, cumin etc to marinate quorn pieces and then cook them up and have I lettuce leaf wraps. I wouldn't worry about being a tad over in anything the calorific content of most of these veg is small so there's no real need to be too concerned! Xxx

Omg just logged in and can't keep up after just kne day too many lost too many people lol.
I'm still in a mess mouth tastes of metal ulcers and swelling still bad am so hot in bed as out of ketosis can't stick to step 3 as not enough products that I can actually way due to the pain and didn't get a reply off CDC in time. Tummy is awful from ABs and eating so windy and sore and sluggish. Can't wait for this to be over now. Will check in and catch up properly or get Lizz to do a summary when I am back with the world in general.
Been Physio today and basically too much time on phone iPad n laptop has effected my already weak neck an shoulder issues as it's effecting my posture hence no log in intol now.
Amigos keep me posted on your losses tho aw who have weigh ins as so many posts I will miss it lol. Xx

I know right!!! He's a kn0b! He wanted to come over whilst freya's away.....he has not been invited! I'm going over to my mate Al's instead tonight to watch planet of the apes! Did a happy dance last night as Al booked tickets to go see Guardians of the Galaxy on night of release at the Giant Screen at Millennium point and he's paid haha!

Well the dulcalox kicked butt literally last night and this morning and i am no longer full of sh1te lol! Weighed this morning....11 11 so thats 2 off from sunday so it was deffo the poo causing problems with the scales yesterday morning!

Kate, i do like egg's but (and i know this is silly) but i dont get why its 2 eggs on SS+ and 810 so i feel cheated haha! I have quorn piecs tonight (with chilli and smoked paprika) and rocket and mushrooms (thanks Autumn for that one!). Well done on the maxi hun :)

Freya will be back in no time!

I love fruit! My favourite are raspberries. But I are them all yesterday so today I am having a mixture of red and green grapes, cherries and a plum.

My colleague went up to step 5 yesterday then stole one of my bars and ate cheese all afternoon. I did explain that wasn't step 5 and maybe those 2 stone hadn't gone very far after all! I always have spares in case I get called out and can't make my appt with my CDC.

All stuff in the house done for the morning and now I'm off to work/Pilates.

have you tried using frozen fruit? I'm going to have a smoothie for breakfast when i'm on the higher plan as im not really a breakfast person (first thing that is), i like breakfast food, but more about 11am lol

cheese?!?!?!?! OMG! Thats deffo not on plan! I'd rather not eat than eat off plan! lol I just glug a bit more water! lol
