Day 1 tomorrow

hi everyone, sounds like everyone is doing well at avoiding the pitfalls of being sociable, and sticking to plan, well done everyone!!

came to wales yesterday, played a little badminton with the kids and chilled out, my mum noticed the difference in me weight wise and she is a bit more on board now although she did serve up lovely cake last night which i refrained from she has made me a salad yesterday as i told her not eating carbs at all and smaller portions so she wants to do it too!! that will help this week as we are out for dinner tomorrow and mum wanted to cook a pasta dish tonight but she said she will make that and a salad for me and her !! great result!

went out for a big cycle today a round trip of 20 miles a little hilly but fun and got hail stones part way but ended in lovely sun so that took us 2.5 hours of cycling with a pit stop at the beach i had a banana whilst the others had big cookies, i could definitely tell i was struggling with energy levels at the end as i was at the back!!! anyway all done and showered and relaxing and a bit of book reading this afternoon!

Wow that's all spooky my in laws live in Dubai 80% of the time. My hubby loves it there had Abu dabi. Where in the north are you? We are near Harrogate but spend more n more time nr Manchester at his parents as they're either her visiting or we stay in the their house as nearer for hubby's work x

Morning folks, no more sleeps!!!!! It's finally Barbados day.
I'd love to say i was all chilled but I'm a bundle of nerves. I'll be ok once my bags are in and I'm in duty free!
I came off plan on Saturday and I've had a 2 day food fest. Today, I am back to no carbs and watching my food a bit better. I kinda wanted to get it all out my system before I go to barbs as I know the crap food makes me feel crap so don't want to be lousy in barbs with the belly situ. All good in my head. just about to get up and go down for breakfast.
the hotel is bollox and I shall be complaining when I get back.

Ended up 1lb off goal. Disappointing but such is life.

not sure how much I will get online while I'm away. I know the house has wifi so when we are chilling I should be ok with the iPad.

Lizz you're wearing size 8/10 in Barbados. If I'd told you you'd be doing that when you started you'd have thought that was great! You'll have a great time!

cold wet day here in Wales so no cycling today

still doing step 3 but had a dodgy tum this morning not sure why and managed to stay on track going out for dinner having baked hake and veg and just a spoon of pavlova and i opted to drive so just diet coke, i seem to get full really fast and leave lots of food now as i just dont need it.

hopefully if the day is better there will be more cycling tomorrow, have to wait and see what the day brings

my mum hasnt been happy about me being picky over food, got served minestrone soup at lunch and i left all the pasta (i didnt need soup anyway

other people are terrible at trying to sabotage diets without meaning to!!

Hoya Sam. Ignore the sabotages. You're doing great. Being designated driver is always a good calorie avoidance strategy! Shame about the weather and lack of cycling. I remember feeling so full on step3. You'll be fine though! Xxx

Ha a great weekend away stuck to step 2 Saturday then Sunday did a ten mile fell climb and hike and had an incident of an AWOL puppy in a field of geese and blew it. Had Sunday and monday off plan and feel disgusting bloated and huge gain on scales. Wasn't even that ridiculous of a two days big my body likes to hold onto everything. So am back on step 1 now for a week then re evaluate the situation. I want to be in the 12's before I stick to step 2 really
Feel starving and can't stop weeing and my TOTM is late too so not sure when that's planning on arriving I did have a feeling I ovulated late thai month which is pants as I wanted a nice regular cycle but nevermind.

i am expecting TOTM anyday (well from a week ago) and its annoying me not starting

today been out sloe picking not too much exercise at all but fresh air! may get out later tonight hopefully even a quick cycle round

She scaled a 6fg some wall via a river and was running round with 50 geese chasing her and a farmer could have shot her I was a wreck and ate half a panini and a jug f pimms later on too I just hope I can get if off by Friday but my lord ok hungry today lol. I daren't so any gym work as I'm so hungry if will make me worse lol.

Ladies, my TOTM completely disappeared for the months I was doing Cambridge, only reappeared after I moved up past 1000 cals a day.
