Day 3 and gosh am I struggling. My legs have cramp and I am cold! Still determined. My daughter has had to come to work with me as the school is shut. She has snacks galore and my office smells of digestive biscuits! drinking water and mint tea by the bucket load. I will get through this but needed to moan!!

    Hi Hope,

Sorry to hear you are struggling. It is cold and miserable and I am sure that does not help. Have you gotten on the scales to motivate yourself? I did this morning (beginning of day 3) and I am showing a 4 pound loss. It may just be water, but it perked me up.

    Hiya
If you are getting cramp a lot, this could be a sign of dilution of salt in your blood i.e. you are drinking too much water. Make sure you pace yourself as you dont want to make yourself ill.
Keep going - your first WI is going to be FAB!
    xx

I'm on Day 3 as well and not feeling too bad this morning. Last night I had a very rumbly tummy while I was trying to sleep (again) but I made it through and I'm still 100% SS! Even my actual week 1 in December, I had already nibbled a bit by this time so I think I'm in a better spot to be successful this month. I did pop on the scales and it looks like I'm down about 2 1/2 pounds. I'm hoping to lose 5 lb this week, which would be excellent! I have some very lovely outfits that I need to fit in by the end of the month and an even better success tattoo to put on my back when I hit my goal so the faster the better :).

I promise you'll make it through! The first week is the toughest but just keep your eye on the scale and that'll help you see past the chatterbox in your head.

    hi

Thanks everyone. Feeling much better. Slowed down on the water and no more cramps. Thank you so much for that as I had not realised.

Aseyan, what tattoo are you getting? I am thinking the same. Have two- one I like and one I like but it was not done very well.

I did weigh myself and am shock as it was 5lbs already!

We can and will do this!!!

I'm not entirely certain yet but I have a cool idea in my head. I've always wanted to get a tattoo but felt limited to where I could put one due to my fitness level. I'm actually planning to get a back piece, probably most of my back but it will probably be a bit cherry blossom tree with a full geisha leaning against the trunk of the tree. With all of that together it really kind of symbolizes how hard I worked to get to where I will be, and the celebration of it etc. I haven't completely figured out all aspects just yet :).

moan until your heart is content hun if it helps you stay on track!
I glug water like a demon, usually about 6-7ltr a day, but my body has always been used to about 4lr even when i'm eating sh*te food! lol

Glad the cramps have gone though!
5lbs off already is super hun, that should give you a bit more motivation to keep going! xxx

    Thanks

Tattoo sound great.. go for it, but i recommend you do your research and find an artist you really like. I was too impulsive with one of mine. Good luck
