Day 4

I'm on day 4 and really struggling today!! Really want to eat food which is ridiculous as there is no way on earth I would bring myself out of ketosis and have to endure the last few days again!! I'm hoping that having the bars will help! When can I have them?
 
It takes the body a little longer to get keto-adapted, up to 2 weeks or so. So although you're in ketosis, your body would still rather you weren't. :) That's why it's recommended you wait 2 weeks before having bars. They're higher in carbs so may make things even more a struggle.

Thanks Lily.....I'm determined to do this!! Hoping that my WI on Monday will spur me on for the next week then I can look forward to the bars!! I'm feeling slightly better tonight so hoping like Claire ill be feeling good on day 5 tomorrow :) xx
