Hello fellow trimmers, i am on day 7 and feeling quite hungry and lethargic today and generally low.
The smell of food feels really good but i dont want to put any in my mouth. Went to shop to get lots of fizzy water and on way back almost walked into a food outlet shop. But just walked past it.
Am trying to drink lots of water but cant stop thinking about food.:sigh:

    Hi Tammy,

I havent started yet, I will be starting tomorrow so I cant say I know what you are going through as yet but what I will say is stick at it.

Remember you are doing this for a reason. I have tried to lose weight and have failed miserably, I have about 3 stone to lose.

Take each day as it comes.

    You can do it!

Thank you Sandra B your weight loss is inspiring.

Hi Raringtogo, good luck. You are right about remembering why am doing this.

I got 4 bottles 1.5l sparkling water at the shop. Just needed to drink water to combat the hunger feeling.

Got a text from friend saying she was going to invite me to dinner/lunch till she remembered I was on LT, so why tell me then? I was not happy as she is big herself and knows I am trying very hard. I felt that was insensitive but this will be par for the course now. Lots of people be discouraging which is why I love and need this forum.

tut! that really is unthoughtful! maybe she doesnt want you to succeed? which is more reason to succeed! or maybe am just being mean.... either way, keep at it!

    hi

hi am new to this site and i was reading about your dilemma, from the little knowledge that i have read, is that when you are on a diet you should not be hungry during your diet. when i get my hands on where i got that information from i will send it to you.

hey tammy your right to to stock up on water but dont drink the 4 bottles in one day because its far to much 4lts is the max in 24 hours.
as for feeling hungry that will pass and walking into food shops will also fade out until you realise that you can go in with others and not eat. when is your first weigh in? as it will spur you on for the next week. good luch hun and remember to log in here for support whenever needed. x x x

Thank you so much everybody. I have felt a lot better today and didnt drink all 4 bottles in one day. 4 ltrs is about as much as i can manage.

Good luck to everybody and stay strong. All the people who have been on 100% for weeks give me real hope.

Now I just got to stop jumping on the scales all the time. Lost 10lbs in Week 1 and know it is going to slow down so dont want to disenchant myself

tammy it will slow down but depending on how much you have to lose will alter how quick it slows down. i had 12 stone to lose and have had 3 weeks at 3lb a week 1 week stayed the same and the rest have all been 5,6 or 7 and 1 even at 8 so you never know. just hang in there hun you will get there x x

I agree with you Tammy, I'm a newbie and started today but it's so nice that there are other people going through the same thing as you and that are supportive! Maybe your friend is jealous because she doesn't have the stamina to start a diet?

best of luck Tammy, better to ignore friends like that and look towards the end of the tunnel.

Looking at some of the threads here with the stats of how much weight people are losing/have lost is inspiring to say the least
I'm saying to myself that it "will" be me, i'm sure its going to be very tough for myself but i'm going to give it all i've got :chores016:

    Hello Everyone
I'm restarting LT having had 3 weeks off for Christmas, i had lost 10lb in the 2 weeks before Christmas, and have put 8lb back on, oddly enough i don't feel too miserable about it, having had a Fantastic time eating myself stupid, i'm getting weighed on Friday and starting straight away, the prospect of going back to TFR is actually quite a relief.... Mmmm i'll probably be bleating on about being sooo hungry this time next week, just ignore me if i do
    Happy new year
    Regards Sam
