Day one...aaarrggghhh

    Well, nearly survived day one and all this waters making me feel pretty full but pretty sick too. Trying my first vanilla shake tonight, hated the chocolate one, totally made me gag. Any advice for surviving the next few days? X

    Its gonna be tough so you just gotta be strong and ignore the hunger pangs. After 3 days or so once u hit ketosis it gets slightly easier. For me it took 2 weeks to feel ok but now after almost 3 weeks it feels quite easy. Its just a case of getting used to it and fitting it into ur life. If you want it badly enough you will find some inber courage and go for it! The results are pretty amazing and if you stick to it 100% you will be sure to have a big weight loss in the first few weeks! Good luck hun we are all here for u :)

    Hi Danielle... welcome to the LT forum.
    Advice for surviving the next few days.... this forum...... If you are bored, hungry, feeling like cheating then get on here and start reading/writing!!! Start yourself a diary on the diary thread with how you are feeling and thinking etc and the responses will spur you on. We are all here in the same boat so you are not alone!!
    Try all those old clothes on tonight and see how tight they are and each week you will be able to feel them getting looser!!

    Tips for the diet though. Straws. I couldnt live without them. I couldnt stomach the shakes drinking normally. I push the straw as far back in my mouth as possible and you dont even taste it. Its great!!
    Unless you are used to drinking lots of water before the diet measure out 2 litres in the morning, in a jug or bottles and you will soon get through them. Its easier than you think to drink 2 litres!!

    Be prepared for a rubbish few days, and dont plan too much. Most people go through a rubbish day on 3 or 4. But once you are past that and into ketosis you will be flying :)

    Ahhh thanks girls, so nice to hear others advice. Feel like a pest at home keep banging on about it. How much have you all lost and in how long? Hearing others success really makes me feel more positive.
    By the way, how lovely are all the people on here!! Xxx

    Im due for my 3 rd weigh in on wed but have lost 12lbs in 2 weeks, was really pleased but there are others that have lost 12-19lbs in the first week depending on height and starting weight etc. So good luck. It will be ur first weigh in before u know it and the results will spur u on! :)

    Hi Dannielle, I'm just finished day 1 and think the shakes are ok. Definately feel full after them and find it hard to swallow the last of it but just force it in. Loads of water!!! Good luck x
