Dear Diary...

Hellooo,

I'm new here. I've always used this website as a point of reference so thought it was about time I should join so I can help out every once in a while as people have helped me so much! (Thank you btw!)

I restarted my diet 3 days ago - 14th Jan 2011 - and I weighed 159lbs.

In May 2009 I weighed 190lbs, so about 13 and half stone?? Since then I have obviously lost a fair bit of weight, and keeping it off hasn't been a problem. :eek: surprisingly.
But as I was dieting alone the diet fell to the wayside and, although I've maintained, I've stopped.

So...My weekly trips to GBK with my boyfriend have stopped! My little poster in the kitchen by the oven is back up! and I've already had a fight with a GU chocolate pudding...which ended with the spoon in the drawer and the pudding in the fridge :D

BRING IT.

Anyway, a little about me.... I'm 23, have a lovely (if not annoyingly skinny) boyfriend and I am a vegetarian. I have found the slimming world concept really works for me because of quorn being an unlimited and my boyfriend liking to eat lots. I've always cooked from scratch so it's the weighing of the cheese that is important for me!

Anyway, that's enough about me - I'm going to be searching and reading all about you for the next hour!

Friday 14th Jan

Breakfast
Grapes

Lunch
Eak, this wasn't perfect, forgot to prep lunch for work so had to buy....
Greek salad with feta, houmous and 1 pitta (HExA HExA HExB)
Diet coke

Dinner
Jacket potato (with no butter) beans and cheese (HExB)

Snack
Orange
Teaaaa, black tea. Lady Grey :)
Cream Soda

Saturday 15th Jan

Spaghetti, cheese and pepper HExB

Dinner
Bit of a weird one!
Mashed potato (my fav! used some milk left over from my daily allowance)
parboiled fresh veg with no butter - they didn't need it they were the beessttt (broc and carrots)
frylight fried onion and quorn chicken pieces - purely for some extra protein but actually tasted scrummy

Snack
Orange
Cream Soda

Ummmm, and then the bad bit - I went out and drankkkk.
I had 2 thirds of a bottle of medium dry white wine - 17 syns
5 vodka and diet cokes - 12.5 syns

So despite me getting this in the wrong place I am going to carry on!!

Right, Yesterday had a really good day :) ... today I gave into temptation, but have only aquired 6 syns (so far!) so I guess that's not too bad....My pattern seems to be no-syn-day syn-day no-syn-day syn-day

Sunday 16th Jan

If you've read above you will probably already know that I was hungover sunday, more so than normal maybe because I didn't eat chips or pizza on the way home after my night out.

Lunch/Dinner I had a late, large lunch. I ate lunch around 4
Quorn Cottage Pie (Mash made with left over milk allowance) with fresh parboiled vegetables. [with Bisto] Syns 1.5

Cream soda (and syn free??)

So I had a blip. lol, tasted good though (but not so good that I need another tonight)
I could say the pizza was 10 syns plus 2 HExs??? As it was less cheese and only veg on top... it is the base I really need to know the syns of.

Also, didn't realise how synterific fruit juice was.
EAK!

Does it make any difference that it is fresh juice not from concentrate??

FIRST WEIGH IN TOMORROW..... :D :D I'm very nervous but I will be measuring myself (chest, waist, hips, thighs, arms) for the first time also! Very exciting.
