You're right, but as you know, I stuck to the 777 - so completely 100% on plan
So it does become a bit disheartening

You know me - stick to plan this week, let it show next week

Still thinking about next weeks food plan,
no decisions yet!!!

My vote is give it a full-on 100% red week with plenty of cod, winkles, cockles, mussels, prawns & crab add scallops, salmon (tinned if preferred)& lobster to make the worldsgreatest sea food salads.

I know you love your seafood, so as experiments go it's a win-win;)

Guess I'd better update eh??? Been a bit slack on that score... not SW wise, just writing it here ( it's all in my spreadsheet I keep)

I did actually make a meal plan, but it's sort of morphed  (Fri - Sun was as planned)

WK45 D4 (Mon 14th Nov) - EE

was red until dinner.... but after reading the cheese scone thread again, decided to use it!!
OK, as I'd had sufficient superfree anyway

Lunch: Smoked salmon & hardboiled egg salad
Smoked salmon, hardboiled egg, ff cottage cheese, mixed leaves, beetroot, tomato

Snack1 : fruit
apple, pear

Snack2 : Christmas cake
Christmas cake (8) - Mr Kiplings in little individual packs.... great if you can stick to your syns!!! - Tasty, but prefer the Christmas pudding & Brandy butter

Dinner: scone topped chicken casserole & veg, fruit
chicken, oxo, onion, carrots, swede, turnip, celery, mushrooms, smash, egg, ff cottage cheese, runner beans, cauliflower, apple, plums, pear, galia & canteloupe melon

blend the cottage cheese & egg, make 'dough' by stirring in the smash, turn into balls, flatten and bake for 20mins... I used this as a topping, so just blobbed it on top
The proper recipe is 300g onion & chive ff cottage cheese, 2 eggs, 100g smash
I used half the amount, and plain c/cheese

Supper: Hot chocolate & cereal bar
250ml semi-skim milk (HEA), options (2), 2 xalpen light ( HEB)

HEA x1 & HEB x1

Daily Syns (incl above)
Christmas cake - 8
Options - 2

WK45 D5 (Tue 15th Nov) - Green (and planned)

Really was one of those days... not hungry all day, flipping ravanous by dinner!!! Ah well, no problem

Lunch / snack: fruit
apple, pear

Dinner: quorn pasties, chips & beans
2x pasties (2x pitta (HEB1&2), meatfree mince, carrot, peas, potato, swede), baked beans, SW chips

There has been a lot of talk about the 1syn pasty... our consultant brought some in the other day... lovely, but decided that I'd want chips & beans, and 1 probably wouldn't feed my greedy intention, so made it with quorn mince (well, Asda own)
basically, I made it really easy... tin of mixed veg, mince, cooked together with oxo for flavour... bunged in a pitta, glazed beaten egg.. cooked for 20 mins @ 200 deg.... easy peasy

Supper: hot figs & cheese
3x figs, 42g cathederal city light (HEA1)

in bed supper: magical elf (3.5)

HEA x1 & HEB x2

Daily Syns (incl above)
Magical elf - 3.5
Total Daily Syns : 3.5
Total Weekly Syns : 36.5

WK45 D6 (Wed 16th Nov) - Green
Another one of those morphed days - had planned liver & bacon (in the freezer from last week) but ended up with a load of the pasty filling left over, so decided to use that up instead.

Another one of those not hungry days :sigh:

Went to Asda to pick up a few bits... Yeah 70 quid later  ...dunno where that went

Breakfast: Egg & beans on toast
2x400g warburton (HEB1), baked beans, 2x poached eggs

no snacks, no fruit, no lunch, no nothing until dinner... did try some more green tea though... green tea & citrus, that was quite nice - bought a Twinings green tea selection box.. so a few more flavours to taste over the week

Dinner: sort of quorn spag bol
meatfree mince, carrot, peas, potato, swede, 1 tbs tomato puree (0.5),spaghetti, 42g cathederal city light (HEA1)

Off to the pub.....diet coke - Oh what a surprise

came home, bed, no supper, no chocolate (would have just been eating for the sake of it really - so didn't)

HEA x1 & HEB x1

Daily Syns (incl above)
1 tbs tomato puree - 0.5
Total Daily Syns : 0.5
Total Weekly Syns : 37

Yeah, I know, not a lot are there?
Not been trying to cut back, in fact was aiming for 10/day.... So not achieved that
Just had one of those weeks really - nit super hungry, or fanciful so, went without.

Cheers, fingers crossed for tonight - tho, maybe I've not eaten enough this week ? We'll see

In my best Victor Meldrew voice - I don't believe it

Flipping 1/2 lb on. ??!!? Arghhhhh

I can't press the Like button because I most certainly do NOT Like!!!

If we were to analyse this it could be one of 2 things (IMHO):

1. Not enough syns ... and possibly even not enough food full stop.

2. You are a very similar loser to me ... a wee surge then a fluctuation for a few weeks before settling at the new weight.

What do you think?

Well, I've been having a think - last week could well be due to TOTM, ok, so I expected to lose something today, but, this week I've eaten very little - I agree, and mainly green, and very few syns
- no beer for weeks, not on medication so who knows?

So, next week gonna be red (except tomorrow) Ken decided he wanted to take me out for dinner ?? Again so soon ?? What's he after lol so I've chosen Harvester, probably steak & jacket so will be EE
I'm gonna try going back to work Monday if I can - so will have some sardines or mackerel with me so I can avoid jackets if their meat/fish choice isn't suitable - can't eat plain salad, might take in a couple if hardboiled eggs too

Stevie baby reckons a full on red with added fish, so gonna take his advice - certainly red-wise

I've hardly eaten any fruit, and not a huge amount if speed/superspeed so will make great efforts there too - maybe a 777 week, but with 10syns per day

Whatdya reckon ?

I think that's a good idea. You've had good results previously on red and with a healthy input of superfrees you could be onto a winner. Don't tell Steve I agree with him though ;)

Don't like it when one of us doesn't lose :( We don't deserve it do we Deb?

Did you see what Pommette said about getting stuck at the same weight on the way down as we were on the way up? Interesting theory and I can definitely relate to it.

777 worked for me hun, only 1 1/2 off but i am not complaining. Still going for the 777 this week too, it is really easy, but more tricky getting the fluids down!

Yep, I saw what Pomette wrote... not sure about being stuck here before... I did SW in 2004, but started less than I am now, lost 1st 1 & 1/2 lb in 10 weeks to be my lowest ever adult weight of 10st 3 ....

Tracey, I did the 777 and stuck to it 100% and got last weeks STS ?? as I say, maybe *week to blame there
Water wasn't the easiest for me... but I did do it, I put 7 5p pieces in my left pocket, and transferred them into my right pocket when I finished each glass... just to keep on track.....
Would be happy with 1 1/2 off next week

Well OK - that's the plan
777 on mainly red (EE Friday going out for dinner) - averaging 10 syns a day - expect a few more Friday, but will even it out over the week to 70 ... with a good selection of fish where possible...

Fingers crossed eh?

THANKS x

OK, so OH decided earlier in the week that he wanted to take me out for dinner tonight .... My choice, so chose harvester... really easy to optimise there.
Decided on the one near him, so I drove, well, I'm not drinking anyway, took my own extra light mayo..... when we went before, I had about 5 tbs of their lf mayo... at 2.5/tbs that was 12.5 gone in mayo...
