Weigh in tonight and I am back where I was last week hoping that I will have done enough for my 2 stone award had half a pound to go so fingers crossed... Not sure what to do tho normally I have my dinner after weigh in but the new group starts half an hour later and last week over-ran by 15 mins so I didn get my dinner till 9pm!! I was starving which is not good because I then cant be bothered making anything so I start eating the wrong stuff so this week really need to eat before but will it effect my weight loss I wonder :confused:

Try taking some fruit or a cereal bar to class with you. My weigh in is in the morning and I almost always take something with me and the consultant asks me what it is. Then I get embarassed but not enough to stop me from eating.
 
Thursday 29th April EE

Had my hair all cut off today feeling really good took a photo in the mirror and when I looked at it couldnt believe how much my collar bone is visible now and my double chin gone :) and who knows a haircut must mean at least a half pound loss ;)

Fri 30th April EE

Decided to up my training today as I dont think I will acheive the 5k by the midddle of June when I need to so instead of doing the c25k every other day I am going to do 2 days in a row and one off that will see me out running 5 days a week I need to build up my stamina am on week 4 and really struggled with the 2nd set of 3 and 5 min runs. starting today :)

found my c25k a little easier this morning I am on week 4 and the past couple of times I have done it I have struggled with the last set of 5 mins maybe only managing 2 today I managed 4 then walked for a minute before jogging the final minute hopefully next time I will manage it all!!

Night out last nigh had just 3 drinks :) so wasnt too damaging and had saved a few syns from the day before too so think I will be way under over a week so shouldnt effect weight loss :)

managed to complete this weeks couch to 5k training without having to stop on the last 5 minute run. I think increasing my training has worked so going to continue training on a 2 days on 1 day off system hopefully will have me able to run the full 5k before 19th June the day of the race :)

I think it's great you are doing the Couch to 5k training. I'm sure it will make a big difference to your weight loss and stamina!
 
Attempted week 5 of couch to 5k today had to run 3 lots of 5 mins with 3 min walking
didnt do as bad as i thought I would manage a 5 then a 4 and then a 4 half so next time I will do it :)

Ok Yesterday went a bit silly had Wi lost half pound got home hadn't planned what I was having for tea couldnt be bothered cooking cupboards were looking a bit bare so ended up eating stuff I shouldnt had a chicken snadwich on wholemeal but I had already had my HeB but then I went a bit mad and ate 4 asda choc twix fingers :eek:

Feeling great today, went for c25k run and I managed to run my 1st set of 8 mins really easy I could of carried on! but I kept to the program and walked for 5 then restarted for another 8, 2nd lot of 8 wasnt so easy and I stopped at 6 mins but I did better than I thought will do it next time :)

ive been looking for someone who was a similar weight to me/similar start weight etc
Did you lose the weight you have already on SW? You have done so well!

Have you got any adivce for me? Its my first week but i think i am eating far too much even though i am sticking to my Hex's and syns
 
Hi Katie

Yes have lost it all on SW although since christmas its been very slow I was 11 5 half at weigh in just before Christmas and what with gaining a few pound over christmas and going on an all inclusive holiday its taken me this long to lose 6 half pounds.. not too bothered tho because I can eat well and dont feel too much like I am on a diet :)
I started the end of september last year and 1st week I lost 3 then 2 and then it went to mostly 1.5 each week until christmas now it seems I lose half or 1 or I gain half despite sticking to plan :rolleyes:Try not to worry about eating too much I eat loads and I dont think the food diarys reflect that because my portions at mealtimes are huge :D I just love my food. Just relax dont over think it eat when you are hungry and fill up I didnt come on to this forum until after Christmas and up until then lost steady amounts then I read about too many carbs, too much fruit, too many calories, low GI ect ect it does start to make you think you are doing something wrong try to read with a pinch of salt IYKWIM stick to plan and the weight will come off and most of all just enjoy food experiment have fun food is not your enemy :)

P.s not having a go at this forum I love coming for the recipes moral support :)
