DECEMBER EXERCISE MOTIVATOR

Hi cud I join this thread 2 pls? I don't ave a particular time target but I'v fallin out of the exercise habit recently and wud love 2 tone up again in time 4 xmas (I kno it's prob a bit late! lol!). I also hope gettin back in2 exercise will help off-set the usual xmas excesses and that the habit will stick again! I used to run quite a bit and intend 2 start that again in the new year so until then it's just my pilates dvd and fat-blast dvd along with weekly horse-riding...
...so far this week I'v only managed 40mins of dvd and 30mins of power walking durin work lunch time....fingers x'd 4 sum improvement - hopefully bein accountable 2 the thread will help!!! :D

20min walk to zumba, hours zumba session and 20min walk back. I must be mad in this cold weather but that 4st shiny is dangling infront of me!
 
Oooh, can't wait until I'm as fit as you Rochelle! I had a bit of a NSV with my exercise but now I feel like it's nothing :( Boosted my speed on the treadmill and did 5 mins longer than usual.

Aww thanks hun, I've lost almost 4st to be this fit though lol think I would have collapsed before. Its all about starting slow and building it up I reckon. Love excersise classes x

40 mins of power walking yesterday and 1hour of horse-riding 2day (horse-riding was very energetic 2day due 2 a very lazy horse! lol! :D)

Half hour worth of kettle belling at home lol mixed with sit ups/press ups/squats. Havnt been adding dog walks in every day but never mind ill just keep adding the 'proper' excersise times.

Have been busy on Step to the Beat (fast tunes only) and Just Dance on the wii. Not as energetic as some of your exercise routines, but easier to do when I'm stuck at home and it is fun even though my coordination leaves a lot to be desired. Step to the Beat is really addictive and I end up doing a lot more time on it than I originally intended. I have now lost 3st 2lb and I'm feeling elated that I am now half way to my target. I originally had 6st 4lb to lose and that sounded almost impossible. That's why people like CraigA and Rochelle etc are so inspirational for me as they have been so successful. I know the exercise really helps my weight loss and my fitness level, manoeuvrability and stamina have improved. I always feel better in myself after exercise, a real mood booster. I'm sure I'll feel even happier when I reach my next mini-targets.

Did 50mins of Blast Off Body Fat! dvd this mornin n I feel gr8 4 it! I also spent this afternoon walkin round the shops but I won't count that as it was more of a stroll than anythin else! lol!

Julie2011 I just wana say well done on yer weight loss! I agree wif u that people like CraigA and Rochelle etc r a gr8 inspiration as I feel the same about them, and I hope u kno that other people will also b inspired by u and yer journey. Oh thanks you two!! I love the excersise as I can really feel my body changing with it!! Its deffo worth a go. Makes you feel so much healthier. I've still got such a way to go though, still another 4st 12lbs to lose. Xx
 
Can I join? Started SW 2 weeks ago and lost 8.5lbs in my first weigh in. Well chuffed. I have a gym membership but haven't been for the past 3 months :O I know its really bad as I'm paying £30 a month. I keep telling myself I'll go but something always comes up or i just cant be bothered. Need some serious motivation
