Hi Hun, we have a bird box with a camera in but we have never had a bird in it! To be fair we live just off a main road and we only have a yard not a garden but we have loads of birds around as the houses at the back of us have gardens and big trees, they are always in our garden and on the wall but never in the box.... do you think we will ever get any? I'm very jealous of your great tit! lol xx

You might. It needs to face east or north east to shield it from the sun. Also they won't next where others do so if any nest near your box thy wont. If its been up a while with no joy it's worth moving it. We have starlings nesting every year between the roof tiles and the guttering so put a box up on the front but thy didn't use it - contrary little things!! Also put out some food consistently. It's then like a mini world for them & will tempt them in. I live in a town but by a park so lots of trees. Woods nearby but I am on the corner of 2 roads so its not rural. I get one roosting may til it goes to nest and in another box for last 2 years, a nest ( no camera there til now). I'm excited this year. Pics will follow!
 
Crotcheting looks VERY good! How big will it end up? Nice to hear the bird info as well. As far as staying with the programme, well as you know I'm a fine one to talk but I know a lot of theory ;) The only thing to do is emphasise to yourself how much this is benefitting you long term, how good it is not to be carrying around the excesss weight.

When a person loses a fair bit they can lose some of their 'away from' motivation ... as in I want to stop being so fat I can't buy/wear smaller clothes, I'm so fat I can't .... (insert what ever is appropriate for you) All the things you dislike about being overweight. This might be applying to you now.

Then it is time to bump up the 'towards motivation' Think about your longer term plans, how good it will be when you get to where you had planned to be. Think about it, write about it, visualise yourself in that new body. From what you've said before you have all the resources to do this. Then move onwards ;) You can do it and so can I.
 
Just a quickie before bed (!). Hope yours days have been good but flicking through diaries this weekend it has been hard for a lot of people. My discipline is cracking. Still within weekly syns but finding it harder. Want it sooooo badly so need to strengthen my resistance. I'm going to do a food diary every day & measure a choice milk again. Just need to tighten up a bit & focus.

My 2nd bird camera has a guest- a great tit. So pleased. Knew there had been a visitor yesterday as the box was no longer spic and span & tadah, there was the culprit snuggling down out of the snowflakes. Lets hope he finds himself a lady friend and they get busy!

Dinner was the chilli & butternut squash risotto from comfort foods book made by d. Yum. Then quark with 2 tbsp Nutella & banana.

Am pleased with my chair - just crocheting the cover - sneak peak attached. Will take photo of finished item when done. Golf then dexter then bed before 11.30 for once. I'm one sleepy dieter thanks to jillian michaels and her fat burning workout.

Yes that's it exactly its almost like 'I've lost a stone so I must be slim now'. This was evidenced as I sat on the sofa last night and suddenly shouted 'ugh look at how huge my tummy and thighs are' as if they would suddenly be tiny!!
 
Today has been chilly. My boss visited and we walked to town for a coffee (he eat) and mmmmmmmmm Lisa you were so right - americano with sugar free caramel syrup yummmmmmmmeeeeeeeee!! Glamorous assistant off ill today and boss coughcoughcoughing all day so hoping this sturdy birdy has avoided thir horrid bugs. Food nice today but a bit weird. Weetabix with banana and 2% total for brekkie. Same for lunch with rasps and grapes instead of banana. Also pack of quorn roast fillets. Gum. Total syns-3. 2 bs. 1 a (milk). Dins will be omelette I think but I'm very hungry so not sure how satisfying that will be. Wi tomorrow so got to go light. It's stupid because if I'm light cause I've eaten less it means nothing but I do it anyway. Only looking like a half this week but we shall see what tomorrow brings.

As I sit here I swear I'm getting colder - going to jog downstairs for a hot Ribena. Ta ra for now more later no doubt x
 
I'm totally into my Douwe Egberts flavoured coffee at the moment and strangely enough I drink them really strong but I don't drink any other coffee strong. I would normally do Starbucks tomorrow but Sally is off school and she can't walk far so my routine is a bit off this week so good job I got some more Douwe Egberts on Friday :) xxx

Chilly she says !!! Just a tad west and south of you we've had blizzards, strangely without settling. Fingers crossed for you tomorrow. And for being bug-resistant.

We had snow yesterday morning, through the night and practically all day today. Hubby left work at 6 in Ipswich and still not home!!

You make me giggle!...... Get ready...... 1.75 off!!!! I am so pleased as every sneaky weigh through the week said 0.5. Just had omelette and yogurt last night though but I don't care! Logging it as 1.5 as cant log quarters on sw site so that's 0.25 in the bank. That's so unexpected - especially as its totm. Woohoo!!!!!! 15.5 off heading downwards slowly but surely.

Its a White out here but I'm heading to work in an hour with a warm glow!! D lost 1 so he's at 11. (He's still having so many treats though grrrrr!).

The first person noticed yesterday. A totally unprompted 'you've lost weight'. That is what starts really having an impact. 6 more lbs and I'm at the weight I met dunc which will make me feel good. My plan or this week is smaller portions and less snacking and upping the water more. Have a snuggly day everyone x

You are averaging over a pound a week EVERY week because you are consistently putting the effort in....not many people can say that chuck, 4-5 lbs a month is a mega, mega, mega achievement xxxxxxxxxxxxx

In that ana! way I have I do my average every week - I have so many little charts etc to complete ( sad!!). My average thanks to one 3.5 loss is over 1.5 so that's good - more than happy with that. It will probably drop eventually but managed it for ten weeks YES ten weeks of saintliness (sort of!!) got a spring in my step!!

Aww I want birds in my box... throws a princess tantrum! lol
My OH installs them at schools for the children and they can see them on an interactive white board, they were so excited when they got their first bird... he turned it on with a room full of squealing 3 and 4 year olds to find... a dead bird! poor kids were mortified! xx

That's the problem with camera boxes. You see what happens in nature - they can fight for the possession of the box and lots of the chicks often die. Hardto see and something I'm dreading to be honest . Was so worried about both mine getting frozen checked this am they had both left the box and they had Phewee!!!

I would stress choc is not my thing so this drawer is not calling me or hard to resist but it makes me laugh to think all that naughtiness is just sitting there! No I'm not a secret eater but these were all birthday/Xmas pressies & because me &d were so focused & determined to start 1 jan there they all sit!! Think it might be time to take them to work or give them away as I'm not going to eat them. D is a chocoholic though so not sure he will want to part with them.

Tuesday food-
Eggs on toast with ketchup (1)(b)
Beans and veggie sausages on toast (1.5) (b)
Asda m/f mince with peppers, toms, mushs, courgette, garlic, chilli
Grapes
Curly wurly (6)
Milk in 2 coffees (a)

So my first day of no snacks. Didn't go too badly and I'm interested to see whether it makes a difference. I was a busy bee today though which helped as k is ill so having to do her stuff too. I just don't want her to come back after feeling rough to find she's got a backlog of work & get even more rundown. I like things done, quite up to date & queries sorted. I don't want it getting behind but it did mean a long day today with no break but I get quite a buzz when it's hectic & it's good for me to remind myself where things are.

I did 30ds l1 again for my exercise. Using heavier weights to work on bingos.

Now 2 of my 4 weekly progs are on so I'm off to watch.
