Determintation and Motivation!

Hey,

I feel all a bit new to this and have no idea where to begin! Feeling a bit lost!

In 2005 I lost 1st10lb at SW, attended group religiously, and got to a target before I fell pregnant with my first baby who was born in 2006. Number two arrived in 2008 and I have been struggling to get back on track since. I weigh 8lb more than my original start weight and though I don't have the same target as back then, I am not happy and feel like I am on a never-ending diet loop of not getting anywhere!!

I have often used this site for syn values, and as I can't get out to a local evening group I thought I would see if I could get back on track with motivation and support on here!

HERE GOES!

Good luck! We have the same goal weight, however I have a good bit more to lose than you! The support on here seems amazing so I'm hoping the encouragement will really give me the willpower this time to succeed :) Looking forward to hearing about your SW journey!

Thanks!
I feel like I've had that goal for 3 years and I've literally been where I am now the whole time.. I go up or down by 2lb but always back to 11st4 maybe my scales are broken!
There seems to b plenty of support here, and I'm feeling ready!
Good luck to you too!!
:)

Good luck hun! There's lots of support on here, so you'll have lots of people to turn to!

:)

Thank you!!
I'm sure I'm a bit behind on up to date stuff, as all my literature is from 2005, but it worked then so can't see why it wouldn't again..! I use online a lot for syn values and either stick to green or what used to be mix to max! EE is all alien to me!

Feeling extra motivated today having joined up on here!
So far so good…

Breakfast:
Oatbran porridge with milk [a] banana and sweetener
2 x tea with sweetex

bring it on!

Continuing my motivated day!

Lunch: Jacket & beans, clementine and a vanilla muller light
Snacks: cottage cheese, a few carrot sticks and a few grapes (this got me through the 3pm wobble!)
Dinner: Pasta, bacon , cheese [a], with a ff fromage frais, garlic & onion sauce

Later: planning a couple of 142ml red wine [10]

so far so good, feeling full up and I think (at least according to my 2005 book) that I am on good track!
Definitely spurring me on by recording it on here.
Yay!x

Thanks Jess xx

Yay for Wednesday weigh in!

2lb off!!!

[and I had a wobble on Sunday when I had 2 pizza slices for lunch and didn't really count/weigh at roast time]

Feeling even more focussed and determined… I will fit back into my other jeans!!

Urgh, really good day food wise yesterday then I had wine and couldn't resist the Lindt Lindor in the cupboard. I swear I was better of thinking they were 12 each, as I went and ate 4 after wine too…
Oh well, have drawn a line and back on track today… and I have been reading about weekly rather than daily sins, which I might try… it will certainly make me fee better about the cheeky Lindt - if they hadn't been in the house it wouldn't have been a problem! I am now giving them away even though I love them, I CANT JUST EAT ONE AS A TREAT!

TODAY SO FAR:
2 x small wholemeal toast with banana
Tea
Coffee
Raw carrot for snack
Homemade veg soup, cheese [a] and homemade SW chutney… yum!

Since Lunxh...
Toffee mullerlight
Chicken mugshot
SW 'Fry up' with bacon , sw chips, egg, beans baked big mushroom and tomato and a little extra light mayo [1]

Yummo and feeling full :)

So frustrated at the mo with not being able to properly exercise due to the back/hip problems. I can feel the tone that was there turning to wobble... It's one thing having good core strength and being fit and heavy, but not having either in check is depressing... I think that is spurring me on big time - if I can lose the weight, when I can exercise again it should be fab :)

So, I've started the 100 push up challenge!! Supposedly if you follow you will achieve 100 consecutive push ups in 6 weeks.. I'm a bit sceptical, but thought its worth a go especially as my arms have become one of my least favorite parts of my body.. yesterday was day one, tomorrow is day two, so I will see how it goes!

Also added in 60 second plank each day- good for the core and abs, and another exercise I can do even with injury... Feeling the burn ;-)

Wow sounds good hun! Let me know how the push ups go as I hate my arms too lol xx

It's hard work, but using an app so it reminds you when and only three times a week!!
Feeling improvements already!!

28g oat bran porridge skimmed milk [a]
Tea
Clementine
Jacket spud, beans, low fat cheese [a] and syn free chutney, mullerlight strawberry
Packet snack a jacks [5]
Bachelor's Thai rice, LM sausages, Muller light cranberry
Lemon water

I think that looks back on track. Last nights Indian I think is going to bring me down. Must not be sabotaged by OH!! :(

Urgh, all feels a bit all over the place today.. :-( and feels like its gone wrong at the kids dinner time - I didn't have time to sit down and eat as it was rushed due to the Rainbows run :-(

Breakfast: oat bran porridge , skim milk [a] banana, sweetener
Tea x 2
Clementine, apple
Lunch: Mugshot, mullerlight strawberry, clementine (this was a bit of a rubbish lunch, but I ended up out and was best I could come up with on the run)
Mid afternoon: VLF cottage cheese, grapes, spring onions
Tea
Kids tea time: ended up nibbling 85g gammon (yes, weighed LOL!) and a few of their bits of cooked veg. Didn't eat any of their buttered Mash though. I think I shall just count the gammon as a second HEXB - and have something free later. I am just annoyed with myself that I couldn't enjoy the gammon with my meal :-( Think I ight make some SW CHIPS later, and have a glass of wine while I watch HOLBY!

Oh well… weigh day tomorrow, but what with TOTM and the indian sabotage… who knows….

Hmm, just finished off some left over veg and then enjoyed a glass of rose (5) and a special k chewy delight (5)

Sneaky slice of cheese (a) and some of my home made sw chutney :)

Lemon water.... Day done. Let's see what happens in the morning..
