Determintation and Motivation!

Feeling super flump today :( few things going on that have stressed me today. WI tomorrow and feeling on a downer. Had a good week but not expecting anything now. Glad there's nothing to snack on on the house or I'd probably eat it.
Will see what tomorrow brings :-/

Chin up chicken. Remember the title of your blog and remind yourself why you're doing it. Determination and Motivation. Every pound lost is a pound closer to your 1st4lb target. Even if you STS that's not a step back. I had a downer day yesterday, but got back ontop of things after a spot of PMA - Positive Mental Attitude.

I'm sure you'll be fine for the WI tomorrow, you've been sticking to the plan and being varied in your meals. Don't beat yourself up and realise what you've already acheived.

Cheers Becca, just have a lot going on at the mo, so the odd low day is fairly normal. I'm usually quite good at avoiding, but I forgot to take a day of Echinacea & vitamin c after the kids started streaming and now its taken hold and I feel rotten!

On a good note, another 1lb off, so just a stone to go which I could achieve by end if April if my 1 a week trend continues!

Thursday... Not sure what sort of day.. what started as a cold has turned into something horrid. Never had migraine before but I have the headache from hell, my eyeballs hurt. Have had to get someone to collect kids from school as I can barely stand up. I don't get ill! But I swear this is down to missing one day of Echinacea :(

pm: Small bowl leftover veg, beans mash Swede/ celeriac/ carrot, green beans, broccoli, few peas. Morcel lamb.

Friday- ENDED up being a bit all over, maybe red!..
still feeling rotten and a bit icky, but supposed to be off to Wales with a load of friends to a cottage with a pool after school. Trying to find some energy to pack!

Sat - flexible night, really good with food all day and snacked on Muller & fruit.. Weetabix and milk, EE cooked brunch, enjoyed flexible dinner as we played a game where 29 of us were split into teams and had to prepare a box of food towards dinner, then a bit of a Come Dine With Me score out of 10!! Our team won! My cheese & pesto puff twists went down a treat! I could so easily have had a flexible day but I kept my treats to just the evening wine and meal, very pleased with myself! Great fun weekend too :)

I'm just starting out, but I've got 2 stone to lose. I've enjoyed reading your diary with 1 child myself its so easy to snack on their dinner while your cooking yours!! Could you tell me what the app is called and is it available on iPhone? Keep up the good work and I think 1lb a week is a good target and easy to stick to x

Do you mean the press up app? I have friends that do it on iphone too :) I have to restart now as I was ill last week! Hopefully should be easier already though.

Yes, so easy to pick from the kids plates- I'm sure that's what's stopped me shifting the baby weight!
I'm very determined now though so I either have my tea at the same time or make sure I've filled up on fruit and yogurt mid afternoon if I'm eating with OH. As much as I hate waste, is rather not be growing my muffin tops any bigger!!

Good luck with your goal :) have you put a food diary on here? It's so helpful the support that's on here!

Yes the press up app. What is it actually called please? It's so easy to do I think it's habit at least it is with me instead of scraping straight into the bin I usually pick a few things then next thing I know I've eaten it all. I've yet to start a food diary on here but I like to use my fitness app which allows me to put my breakfast lunch and dinner and works out the calories so at least it's going somewhere and I can look back on it x
 
The iPhone one is called 'onehundredpushups' (Android '100pushups') its good fun and some gentle exercise that doesn't take too long!
So the same on the food front, Ive been through phases where I didn't actually sit down for dinner as I'd pick when the kids ate, but worse when hubby home as I'd then eat again with him- either way it was not a healthy habit!
 
Ooh, and I've used mfp for that, quite good as you cam keep an eye on the cals too :)

The turkey burger was delish! There's more left for tomorrow, so might treat myself to a bread roll with one :)
Stupidly got on the scales just before bed... Not sure what I was thinking as I know I weigh 4 lb more at bedtime than in do in the morning! Duh, depressing, but hope that'll mean sts in the morning, if small gain then so be it. I've just done three days 100%, with no syns yesterday or today to make up for the weekend, so I know I can do it :) I definitely need to start using syns for the weekends and not using them in the week.. special k chewy delights are a godsend hexb for evening sweet fix :)

Yuck, rather disappointed that I have gained alb this week. I real was hoping to maintain, and having been so focussed for the last three days I had hoped to get back on track :-(

I guess after two days ill and not really eating properly, and a weekend with wine thats the way it is!

Gonna have a green day today I think, and maybe try a couple of SE this week to try and give it a boost… so my struggle to get in the 10's continues..

The friendship cake is torturing me… so tasty… but it has a LOT of oil, butter, and sugar in!

So I have quartered it, put a portion aside for the kids lunches, frozen two quarters and put a quarter in a tin to take to the school coffee morning!

Having had a fairly pain free few weeks with only the odd day taking anti-inflams and painkillers I seem to have pulled something in the same leg today - a muscle has gone really tight and I can't straighten up from sitting, and I can't walk! Grr... been sorting the step-teens room, but did not think I had done anything that strenuous! Bring on specialist appt on 22nd - hope it'll be the start of getting some answers!

Drinks: tea x 3 (1/2hexa), squash, vino (6)

Syns:120.5/105 oopsy!!

Really must try and have a 100% on plan week... Don't think this weekend had any thing that could sabotage, so if I can stick to one night of wine in my weekly syns and only eat on plan, next week might be better!
So much pain again today which is rubbish, but hey :)
