Thank you. Not actually feeling hungry today so a fast shouldn't be too hard. I'd always wanted to do three this week with having my meal out on Friday. It's not going to be diet friendly in the slightest so I needed to do some damage limitation. Even more so now that I've been off plan last weekend too! xx

Good morning diary, happy hump day! :D

Can you believe how close it's getting to Christmas now!? One week today and it will be Christmas Eve!! Exciting - but also pretty scary. I can't believe how quickly this year has gone.

Yesterdays Fast was a bit of a struggle, I have to say! I stayed within calories (500 exactly!) but I was sooo hungry! I ended up taking myself to bed at about 6.30pm just to take my mind off food lol! It's totally understandable though - I went from being off-plan at the weekend and just eating whatever I could stomach and whenever I fancied it. To then having a Feast day and plenty of calories on Monday. Then back down to just 500 yesterday. It was a bit of a shock to the system I think lol! Feeling good for it today though, love that feeling after a Fast day!

Got a busy day ahead of me today! Lots of meetings at work which will keep me out of trouble lol. Then off home for tea and a quick bath and then off to see my Wozzle for a couple of hours when he finishes work. Can't wait!

Have a great day everyone...

Wow, just had my breakfast and it was delicious. I've been into these Whitworth's "shots" lately but this is the first time trying the toffee pecan one. I will definitely buy some more and have in my porridge again - the toffee went all gooey. Mmm...

Good morning diary. Wasn't able to post yesterday as Mini's seemed to be playing up and wouldn't let me online. So I'm firstly going to post yesterday's food diary - despite not being online I was on plan and had a successful fast day...

And now for todays diary. Got some super yummy food today, as it's our works Christmas meal! I can't wait, I've been looking forward to this for weeks now. We're going to Al Forno Italian where they have a set menu which is £18 for two courses or £20 for three courses. Naturally I went for three courses - value for money and all that ;) Haven't gone for the typical Christmas meal, but as I've been to the restaurant before I've picked some of my favourites.

It's also the last day at work before I break up for Christmas - and a half day at that! Our lunch is at 1pm and then I'll finish after that. I'm off from today until 5th January, so including weekends that's 16 days off. Woohoo!! I'm so ready for it. The last decent bit of time I had off was for our holidays in September, and that feels like a lifetime ago now. Looking forward to spending lots of time with family, friends and of course Warren.

Anyway, let's crack on with todays food. Happy Friday all x

Fast Day

Breakfast:
- Tesco Multigrain Instant Oats
- Can of Monster Zero

Lunch/Dinner (Al Forno - Work's Christmas Meal):
- Starter: Mushroom with Chicken Liver Pate and Caramelised Onions
- Main: Chargrilled Chicken Breast in a Pepper Sauce. Served with Roasted Vegetables
- Dessert: Tiramisu
- Drinks: 2 x Peroni

Other:
- Advent Calendar Chocolate
- 3 x Tesco Shortcake Bites

Hope you have fun on your meal out. This is my first (and last) Christmas in this job and no one has mentionned anything about Christmas meals / drinks, which I thought was a bit strange. Even in my last job the 4 of us went out for a nice lunch every year. Lucky you having 16 days off too!

Merry Christmas lovely lady xxxx

Happy New Year everyone, I'm back! With a whopping gain also, 8.5lb on!! Well deserved though after more than three (closer to four) weeks off plan (two weeks off over Christmas / New Year and week before that I was poorly). But it was oh so worth it. Had a lovely 16 days off work and have eaten and drank everything in sight. Enjoyed time with family, friends and Warren. Done lots of shopping, socialising and nights out. It's just a shame it has to come to an end, as it's really flown over! But, I hate to admit it, it will be nice to get back into a routine. And especially to get back on plan again. It starts right here, right now. Head back in the game 100%!!
